Patent number: 11620917Abstract: A long-distance learning system includes an instruction studio and one or more remotely located classrooms for students. Each of the student's participation, academic performance, and use of digital resources for a class is evaluated in real time and assigned a color, so the instructor can easily assess each student's progress in the class when presented to the instructor in a display which is only for the instructor.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2018Date of Patent: April 4, 2023Assignee: Shorelight, LLCInventors: Philip Kenny, Rudolf Christopher Hoehn-Saric, Daniel Grace, Alyssa Gray, Duane Viazanko

Publication number: 20190287298Abstract: The present invention comprises a system and methods for the conversion of time-recorded seismic data, or images made from them after conversion of time to depth, into data structures that can be imported into and used in a three-dimensional geographic information system. The system and methods are robust with respect to the forms in which the seismic data is input into the invention. The system is general in that it is applicable to cross-sectional data other than those derived in seismic surveys and requires very non-restrictive definitions of cross-sectional planes, their orientations and datums with respect to the volumes they intersect.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2019Publication date: September 19, 2019Applicant: Earth Science Associates, Inc.Inventors: Scott David Morris, Anthony Kalani Dupont, John Daniel Grace

Publication number: 20180232454Abstract: An internet information network is provided by linking content from a plurality of in-webpage views on a plurality of webpages using one or more page view (PV) navigator(s). Each PV navigator comprises a PV-anchor marking an in-webpage view on a webpage and one or more PV-links accessible (directly or indirectly) from said webpage. Each PV-link when activated navigates a user to a distinct PV-anchor on a distinct webpage. The application of a plurality of PV navigators (PV navigation system) to link the content (of in-webpage views) arranged according to a user-defined standard allows the user to browse for similar information efficiently across the information network while maintaining a focused orientation with respect to content of interest. The integration of a PV-database of PV-link records into a PV-navigator and PV-search means allows for the construction of scalable, custom and dynamic in-webpage view information networks according to the present disclosure.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 9, 2018Publication date: August 16, 2018Inventor: Mark Daniel Grace

Publication number: 20060225624Abstract: A portable knockdown table assembly has a separable collapsible slatted tabletop supported on a collapsible base in a setup condition. A pair of bag retaining straps carried by a tabletop slat releasably retain a disposable trash bag in a depending and open condition at one end of the table when the table assembly is setup and may also be employed to releasably secure the slatted tabletop in its collapsed or bundled condition when the table assembly is in its knockdown condition.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2005Publication date: October 12, 2006Inventor: Daniel Grace

Publication number: 20060061146Abstract: A portable sling chair having a frame formed by a plurality of rigid axially elongated collapsible tubular frame members including a main frame member and a rear frame member connected for pivotal and axial sliding movement relative to each other, a collapsible front support member, a collapsible frame front support assembly, a collapsible frame rear support assembly, and at least one connecting member connecting the main frame member and the rear frame member to maintain the frame in a substantially static condition when the frame is resting on a supporting surface in setup condition. A rectangular panel made from flexible material is supported at its opposite ends by collapsible front and rear panel support members, extends therebetween, and defines contiguous chair seat and back portions when the frame is in its setup condition. All of the frame members are disposed in generally side-by-side relation to each other in the collapsed condition of the frame and form a compact bundle.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 15, 2005Publication date: March 23, 2006Inventor: Daniel Grace

Patent number: 5779314Abstract: A folding chair for use on both level and inclined supporting surfaces has a back support and a front leg assembly pivotally connected to a bottom for independent forward and rearward movement relative to the bottom and to each other between operative and collapsed positions. A flexible retaining strap of adjustable length maintains the front legs in selected angular position relative to the bottom and holds the bottom in a generally horizontally disposed position when the chair is supported on an inclined surface. A flexible carrying strap of adjustable length maintains the back in a comfortable back supporting position relative to the bottom. Lifting the chair by the carrying strap automatically collapses the chair into a compact bundle which may be carried on a shoulder by the carrying strap. Collapsible rear legs may be provided for supporting the chair bottom at a conventional chair seat height above a supporting surface.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 1995Date of Patent: July 14, 1998Inventor: Daniel Grace
