  • Publication number: 20220156653
Abstract: Just as fiction has conceived Alternate Realities since Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, this creates an Alternate Reality from an engineering viewpoint: This reconceptualizes current and new technology to provide an Alternate “human success” Reality—the “Expandaverse”—in which individual personal success and economic prosperity are accelerated and expanded, with the potential to scale to a plurality of individuals and groups worldwide. This “Alternate Reality” includes reconceptualized machines, devices, systems, personal identities, networks, infrastructure, utility(ies), identities, digital presence, governances, etc. that comprise an Alternate Reality Teleportal Machine (ARTPM). In some examples the traditional glass window is reinvented as a digital “Teleportal” (herein TP) that turns the world and near-space outside the Earth into one room (the Teleportal Machine or TPM), with direct “always on” access to a plurality of people, places, tools, entertainment, resources, etc.

  • Patent number: 11222298
Abstract: An electronic platform enables a user and others to provide instructions that control continuous, variable content control principles that produce one or more unique digital environments for that user. The environment's content control principles support dynamic user presence awareness and control over real-time controls over identification, preferences, filters, prioritization, selective replacements, protection, privacy, and paywall, among others. The resulting digital experiences environment is continuous and dynamically updated across diverse electronic devices, at multiple times, and at various places. A user may have multiple sets of variable content control principles and switch between each of the corresponding environments.

  • Publication number: 20100070345
Abstract: A network, including a product sub-system that interacts with a user, gathers information from the user, communicates the information to the product's vendor, and receives new pre-programmed interactions from the vendor for future interactions with the user. The sub-system is in or attached to a product. Further components include a data processing system for constructing and downloading pre-programmed interactions to the product sub-system; a communications sub-system for transmitting the data from the product sub-system to the vendor's computer; a communications apparatus for reading the product sub-system's data, transmitting it to the vendor's computer, and downloading new pre-programmed interactions to the product sub-system; a data processing system residing in the product sub-system and for conducting interactions with a user; and a data processing system residing in the vendor's computer and for analyzing and reporting the information gathered from users.

  • Patent number: 7222078
Abstract: In an exemplary system, information is received at a central location from different units of a commodity. The information is generated from two-way local interactions between users of the different units of the commodity and a user interface in the different units of the commodity. The interactions elicit from respective users their perceptions of the commodity.

  • Patent number: 7133834
Abstract: An electronically accessible server receives, stores, and sends value information from customers. The server or other digital medium stores the value information generated by independent users. Triggers or interactions can be used to determine when value information would be useful for a user of a client system. The value information can include customer assessments, usage frequency, navigational pointers, executable program code, instructions, product information, and service information. A digital medium is used to store value information generated by independent users. The medium can be coupled to an electronic communication network to allow for interchange of information.

  • Patent number: 5999908
Abstract: The invention may be embedded in products or services that contain a microprocessor and a facility for communication. The resulting two-way interactive media enables relationships to be built with individual customers and groups of customers throughout a product's or service's life cycle. Customers may also be provided with automatic, portable in-use access to constantly updated information during product use, to increase user success and reduce costly and error-filled processes of acquiring product expertise. The invention may interact with customers, gather information from customers, communicate customer information securely to a vendor or external third party(ies), construct and transmit new pre-programmed interactions to the customer communications system in the product, and analyze and report customer information.

  • Patent number: 5251294
Abstract: An interactive information environment for accessing, controlling, and using information. Using a computer, available sources of information are accessed, and components are extracted, labeled, and formed into discrete units called contexts. A user selects and rearranges context labels and their associated contents. Contexts are selected and combined into new information structures called alternates, which are combinable with contexts into preferred situations. The preferred situations in turn are combinable with the foregoing components into meta-situations. All components have labels; labels and their associated contents are interchangeably movable and copyable at the levels of these information structures, whether they are located locally or remotely, and the information structures are combinable. While a label is invoked and manipulated, its contents or description is simultaneously displayed.
