Abstract: Just as fiction has conceived Alternate Realities since Jules Verne and H.G. Wells, this creates an Alternate Reality from an engineering viewpoint: This reconceptualizes current and new technology to provide an Alternate “human success” Reality—the “Expandaverse”—in which individual personal success and economic prosperity are accelerated and expanded, with the potential to scale to a plurality of individuals and groups worldwide. This “Alternate Reality” includes reconceptualized machines, devices, systems, personal identities, networks, infrastructure, utility(ies), identities, digital presence, governances, etc. that comprise an Alternate Reality Teleportal Machine (ARTPM). In some examples the traditional glass window is reinvented as a digital “Teleportal” (herein TP) that turns the world and near-space outside the Earth into one room (the Teleportal Machine or TPM), with direct “always on” access to a plurality of people, places, tools, entertainment, resources, etc.

Abstract: An electronic platform enables a user and others to provide instructions that control continuous, variable content control principles that produce one or more unique digital environments for that user. The environment's content control principles support dynamic user presence awareness and control over real-time controls over identification, preferences, filters, prioritization, selective replacements, protection, privacy, and paywall, among others. The resulting digital experiences environment is continuous and dynamically updated across diverse electronic devices, at multiple times, and at various places. A user may have multiple sets of variable content control principles and switch between each of the corresponding environments.

Using a computer, available sources of information are accessed, and components are extracted, labeled, and formed into discrete units called contexts. A user selects and rearranges context labels and their associated contents. Contexts are selected and combined into new information structures called alternates, which are combinable with contexts into preferred situations. The preferred situations in turn are combinable with the foregoing components into meta-situations. All components have labels; labels and their associated contents are interchangeably movable and copyable at the levels of these information structures, whether they are located locally or remotely, and the information structures are combinable. While a label is invoked and manipulated, its contents or description is simultaneously displayed.
