  • Patent number: 11233788
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for determining authentication assurance from a combination of historical and runtime-provided inputs. An authentication request associated with an account is received. A composite measure of authentication assurance is determined from a combination of a historical measure of authentication assurance and a runtime measure of authentication assurance. A response to the authentication request is generated based at least in part on the composite measure of authentication assurance.

  • Patent number: 11227036
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for determining authentication assurance using algorithmic decay. In an embodiment, an authentication request associated with an account is received. At least one historical authentication event associated with the account is determined. A measure of authentication assurance is determined based at least in part on applying an exponential time decay to at least one authentication assurance value individually corresponding to the historical authentication event(s). A response to the authentication request is generated based at least in part on the measure of authentication assurance.

  • Patent number: 10911425
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for determining authentication assurance based on both user-level and account-level indicators. An authentication request associated with an account is received responsive to an input from a user via a user interface. A user-level measure of authentication assurance corresponding to the user is determined. An account-level measure of authentication assurance corresponding to the account is determined. A composite measure of authentication assurance is then determined from a combination of the user-level measure of authentication assurance and the account-level measure of authentication assurance. A response to the authentication request is generated based at least in part on comparing the composite measure of authentication assurance to a threshold.

  • Patent number: 9783962
Abstract: A front loader comprises an arm, a work implement supported to a tip portion of the arm, and an angle display device. The angle display device includes a gauge member, an indicator, a shaft member, and a conversion mechanism. The gauge member has a scale indicating an angle of the work implement relative to the arm. The indicator is movable relative to the gauge member according to variations of the angle of the work implement. The shaft member is movable along the arm according to variations of the angle of the work implement. The conversion mechanism changes a relative position of the gauge member and the indicator according to the movement of the shaft member. The conversion mechanism is configured so as to cause the indicator to rotate relative to the gauge member around a rotation axis being parallel to an axis of the shaft member in one direction or another direction according to the movement of the shaft member.

  • Publication number: 20160281332
Abstract: A backhoe includes a boom with one end rotatably supported by a supporting structure fixed on a working vehicle, and a boom cylinder with one end rotatably supported by the supporting structure, and with another end rotatably supported by the boom, the boom cylinder that drives the boom by operating in a freely retractable manner. The boom cylinder includes a piston, a cylinder tube that contains the piston, a piston rod connected to the piston, a scale rod fixed in parallel to the piston rod and operates along the outer surface of the cylinder tube in response to an operation of the piston rod, a scale arranged on the outer surface of the cylinder tube along the scale rod, and an indicator provided on the piston rod and operates along the scale in response to the operation of the piston rod.

  • Publication number: 20050240996
Abstract: A method and system for managing security information for a domain of computer systems is provided. The security system displays security information for a selected security object, such as a user or a computer system. The security system initially retrieves security information that includes security specifications that each has the identification of an entity, a resource, and an access right for the selected security object. The security system then displays an identification of the entity and the resource along with the access right for each security specification. When the security information is stored in a security store (i.e., the main security store) by resource and, for each resource, the entities that have access rights to that resource, the security system may use an auxiliary security store to facilitate the retrieval of the security information.

  • Patent number: 6279122
Abstract: A method and apparatus for automatically testing device drivers is disclosed. The invention is applicable to any system wherein software or a device driver receives primitive errors from a device and reports high level errors to a client. The invention generates error test data from tables in the software and creates a test data table. The invention then uses the test data table to simulate primitive errors in the device through hardware or software means. Finally, the invention ensures that the client has received the correct error messages from the software or device driver.
