Publication number: 20240104282Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for bit flip aware latch placement in integrated circuit generation are provided. The method identifies a chip design for an integrated circuit. A set of chip design constraints, associated with the chip design, is identified. A set of checking groups, associated with a plurality of latches to be placed in the chip design, is determined. Based on the set of chip design constraints and the set of checking groups, a placement scheme for the plurality of latches is selected. The method places the plurality of latches within the chip design based on the placement scheme and the set of checking groups.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2022Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Benjamin Neil Trombley, Chung-Lung K. Shum, Paul G. Villarrubia, K. Paul Muller, Michael Hemsley Wood, Daniel Arthur Gay, Hua Xiang, Karl Evan Smock Anderson, Erica Stuecheli, Michael Alexander Bowen, Randall J. Darden

Patent number: 9205497Abstract: A collet for connecting a tool to a driver includes a shaft having an end. The collet includes a body including a first end that connects to the driver and a second end having an internal space partially defined by a frustoconical bore and a plurality of jaws disposed within the space. Each of the jaws includes a body having a frustoconical surface arranged to engage the frustoconical bore and an engagement member coupled to each body to move between an unlocked and a locked position. Rotation of the tool about the axis in a first direction biases the engagement member toward the unlocked position to allow movement of the tool with respect to the jaws, and rotation of the tool about the axis in a second direction opposite the first direction biases the engagement member toward the locked position wherein the tool is fixed with respect to the jaws.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2014Date of Patent: December 8, 2015Assignee: Techtronic Power Tools Technology LimitedInventors: Ryan Harrison, Robert E. McCracken, Daniel J. Bowen

Patent number: 8708346Abstract: A collet for connecting a rotary tool to a rotary tool driver, the rotary tool including a shaft having a shaft end and a shaft diameter includes a body including a first end configured to connect to the rotary tool driver and a second end configured to receive the rotary tool. A magnet is disposed within the body and is positioned to magnetically engage and contact the shaft end to inhibit movement of the rotary tool along a shaft rotational axis. A support member is disposed within the body and is configured to support the shaft for rotation about the shaft rotational axis.Type: GrantFiled: January 8, 2010Date of Patent: April 29, 2014Assignee: Techtronic Power Tools Technology LimitedInventors: Ryan Harrison, Robert E. Publication number: 20110010951Abstract: A pivotable shoe assembly, for use on a reciprocating saw having a housing and a saw blade, includes a shoe support coupled to the housing and having a longitudinal axis. The shoe support includes a base member extending at least partially along the longitudinal axis to define a first plane. The shoe assembly further including a shoe pivotably coupled to the shoe support. The shoe includes a contact surface defining a second plane and a blade recess defined by the contact surface to allow the saw blade to pass therethrough. The shoe further includes plurality of locking positions, each locking position corresponding to an engagement angle, where the engagement angle is defined as the angle between the first plane and the second plane.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 15, 2009Publication date: January 20, 2011Inventors: Ryan Harrison, Daniel J. Bowen, Robert E. McCracken

Publication number: 20070246326Abstract: A flavor strip retaining board for a vending machine signfront. The flavor strip retaining board has a mounting panel and a retaining panel that is spaced from and fastened to the mounting panel to receive flavor strips between the mounting panel and the retaining panel. Fasteners that fasten the mounting panel to the retaining panel are located to support and position flavor panels at a desired location on the mounting panel. The mounting panel may be mounted to a vending machine signfront panel or to a frame of the vending machine.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2007Publication date: October 25, 2007Inventors: William L. Roberson, Richard L. Greenfield, Daniel J. Bowen

Patent number: 6571988Abstract: A release mechanism for a vending machine includes a frame for supporting a plurality of hinged plates which are movable between article retention and dispensing positions. As the release mechanism is moved to the dispensing position, a sub-plate member of one of the plurality of plates projects into a dispensing path and abuts an article to be dispensed to force the article along the dispensing path. A pusher link is used to shift the sub-plate member, with the pusher link being adapted to extend through a central opening provided in a main plate member when the release mechanism assumes the article dispensing position.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 2001Date of Patent: June 3, 2003Assignee: Maytag CorporationInventor: Daniel J. Patent number: 6286715Abstract: A vending machine for increasing consumer interest in the vending process and vended product includes a tipping mechanism. The tipping mechanism is positioned at a first end of a shelf, and modifies the orientation of an article being delivered from the shelf to a conveyor. The tipping mechanism causes the article to be tipped from an upright orientation to a perpendicular, lateral orientation. The tipping mechanism includes a ramp supported by the shelf, a spacer that provides the ramp with an incline from the shelf, and a product rotator extending from the shelf toward the conveyor. The conveyor then delivers the article to a vend port, where it is dispensed in the upright position. The conveyor may be mounted on internal elevator that carries the conveyor between one or more shelves and the vend port. A transparent window is provided on the face of the vending machine whereby a consumer can view the dispensing operations.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2000Date of Patent: September 11, 2001Assignee: The Coca-Cola CompanyInventors: Lawrence B.
