  • Patent number: 11925309
Abstract: A surgical hub for use with a surgical system in a surgical procedure performed in an operating room is disclosed. The surgical hub comprises a control circuit configured to generate a first image of a surgical site from a real-time imaging source, receive a second image of the surgical site from a non-real-time image source, align the first image and the second image, generate a representation of the surgical site based on the first image and the second image as aligned, display the representation on a display screen, receive a first user selection to overlay hidden structures on the representation, receive a second user selection to manipulate the representation, and adjust the representation based on the second user selection.

  • Publication number: 20200364676
Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to determining a disposition path for a returned item. In some embodiments, a system comprises a database including item-specific data for a plurality of items and customer data for a plurality of customers, a control circuit configured to determine a suggested disposition path for each of the items, transmit the suggested disposition path for each of the plurality of items, and a user device configured to receive, from a user, a return initiation including an indication of an item and a customer, and transmit the return initiation, wherein the control circuit is further configured to receive the return initiation, determine a trust score for the customer, determine a suggested disposition path for the item, determine, based on the trust score and the suggested disposition path, a disposition path for the item, and transmit an indication of the disposition.

  • Patent number: 8162208
Abstract: Systems and methods for the generation of user identification strings (UIS) used with multi-function operation vehicles are provided. In some embodiments, a system for activating a user operation vehicle can include an activation portal, a verifier and a UIS generator. The activation portal can request a base UIS and a vehicle code identifying a user operation vehicle be supplied by a user. Then, using an encryptor and a communications module, the activation portal can generate an encrypted base UIS and communicate the encrypted base UIS and the vehicle code to the verifier. The verifier can then authenticate the user and identify functions that are linked to the user operation vehicle. The UIS generator can include a decryptor and a UIS generation module to generate a unique account-specific UIS from the encrypted base UIS for each account linked to the user operation vehicle by modifying the base UIS.

  • Patent number: 8157165
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a user station or input medium allowing a user to view available functions and to enter selection information for requesting the association of one or more functions with a user operation vehicle. A verifier, responsive to the user station or input medium, can be provided to determine based upon a set of pre-determined rules, whether the user is entitled to the selected functions. A linkage generator can be provided to associate a user operation vehicle with the selected functions after they have been verified by the verifier. A reward function may also be combined with one or more of the functions associated with the user operation vehicle. Interoperability can also be provided between functions on a user operation vehicle based on a pre-determined set of rules. The interoperability between functions may be bidirectional.

  • Publication number: 20100191652
Abstract: Systems and methods for the addition of functionality to a user identification string (UIS) at a point of interaction (POI) are provided. A UIS is first requested from the user at a POI. According to some embodiments, the user enters a modified UIS (MUIS) at the POI. The MUIS can include a UIS along with a user code. An authorization request is then created by the POI device, wherein the request can include information such as, but not limited to, a vehicle code, the MUIS, POI location identifier, function deduction amounts, and/or the like. An action (e.g. rounding sweep, linking a function to the user operation vehicle, etc.) associated with the user code, if present, is determined and implemented. An approval or denial of the authorization request is then sent to the POI device after the action has been applied and the request has been processed.
