  • Patent number: 11980180
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a suspended center frame attached to boom wings, and coupled to a fixed center frame. A suspended center frame can be suspended from a fixed center frame with a bearing at a pivot point to allow for pivoting in multiple axes. The suspended frame can comprise one or more dampers that are operably, pivotably coupled with the fixed frame to dampen movement of the suspended frame in the roll axis; and one or more connecting links that are operably, pivotably coupled with the fixed frame to control movement of the suspended frame in the yaw and/or pitch axis. The pivot point can be located above the center of gravity of a suspended portion of the system, and proximate a top portion of the fixed frame; and the links and dampers can be disposed at a bottom portion of the suspended frame.

  • Publication number: 20240093441
Abstract: In a rotary mixer having a floating ground guard mounted for vertical movement relative to the frame and relative to the rotor, an actuator configured to provide movement in at least a vertical plane relative to the frame, and a ground guard dislodging tool coupled to the floating ground guard. The ground guard dislodging tool and the actuator are disposed such that the actuator engages and exerts a force on the ground guard dislodging tool to move the floating ground guard in a downward direction relative to the frame.

  • Publication number: 20240065254
Abstract: A spray boom assembly includes a first boom frame and a second boom frame pivotally coupled via a hinge assembly to the first boom frame about a pivot axis. The spray boom also includes an actuator assembly for pivoting the second boom frame relative to the first boom frame. The hinge assembly includes a first joint location, a second joint location, a third joint location, a fourth joint location, and a fifth joint location. A first end of the actuator assembly is coupled to the hinge assembly at the fourth joint location and a second end thereof is coupled to the first boom frame at a sixth joint location. A spherical joint is located at at least three of the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth joint locations.

  • Patent number: 11234432
Abstract: Folding spray implements and agricultural work vehicle equipped with folding spray implements are provided. In embodiments, the folding spray implement includes a centerframe assembly, boom assemblies mounted to opposing sides of the centerframe assembly, and an actuation system coupled to the centerframe and boom assemblies. The boom assemblies include, in turn, inner wings pivotally joined to the centerframe assembly for rotation about frame-to-wing fold joints, as well as outer wings pivotally joined to the inner wings for rotation about wing-to-wing fold joints.
