  • Patent number: 11937074
Abstract: The present document relates to methods and apparatus for rendering input audio for playback in a playback environment. The input audio includes at least one audio object and associated metadata, and the associated metadata indicates at least a location of the audio object. A method for rendering input audio including divergence metadata for playback in a playback environment comprises creating two additional audio objects associated with the audio object such that respective locations of the two additional audio objects are evenly spaced from the location of the audio object, on opposite sides of the location of the audio object when seen from an intended listener's position in the playback environment, determining respective weight factors for application to the audio object and the two additional audio objects, and rendering the audio object and the two additional audio objects to one or more speaker feeds in accordance with the determined weight factors.

  • Patent number: 6098806
Abstract: A pack of merchandise bags is provided in a closed storage and dispensing unit. A portion of the unit is removable to provide a window through which the bag pack is exposed. Each bag in the pack is provided with a front and rear tab at the top, with the rear tab of a bag being attached to the front tab of the next bag. In addition, the rear tabs are formed together in a stack which is secured inside the unit, and each rear tab is attached to its respective bag through a relatively weak perforation. Thus, when a bag is withdrawn from the back pack by means of the front tab, the bag is opened, because the rear tab is retained to the stack of tabs. However, as additional force is exerted on the bag, the rear tab is torn free at the perforation. Since this rear tab is attached to the front tab of the next bag, the next bag is automatically opened.

  • Patent number: 4152793
Abstract: An inner tank or reservoir is mounted in the conventional flush tank of a sanitary toilet or commode. The tank may be rectangular and have an open top and a closed bottom. An outlet in a vertical wall is closable by a buoyant sphere. The sphere may be free-floating and guided to the outlet by a cage. Alternatively the sphere may be lever-mounted and pivotable in and out of sealing contact with the outlet. A bellows operated from an air pump displaces the sphere from closed relationship to the outlet. Preferably the pump is exterior of the toilet flush tank and connected to the bellows by a flexible plastic conduit. The conventional tank is flushable in conventional manner from its outside handle and the capacity of the inner tank may be added to the water flow by the operation of the air pump.
