  • Publication number: 20230141599
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for monitoring a catalyst health parameter are provided. A system includes one or more processing circuits having one or more memory devices coupled to one or more processors. The one or more memory devices store instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: receive information indicative of at least one of a temperature of exhaust gas entering the aftertreatment system, a time at idle, or a mass flow of exhaust gas; determine a catalyst health management criteria based on the information; determine a catalyst health indicator based on the catalyst health management criteria being met; compare the determined catalyst health indicator to a predetermined health threshold criteria; and provide a notification based on the determined catalyst health indicator being less than the predetermined health threshold criteria.

  • Patent number: 7278516
Abstract: A lubrication system includes an inlet conduit having an inboard end attached to a bearing support and an outboard end for receiving lubricant. A lubricant inlet assembly is attached to the inlet conduit outboard end and has an inlet cap with a receptacle, an inlet cap body, and a cap base. The inlet receptacle is configured to mate with a lubricant supply line, where the inlet cap body has an outer cap enclosing an inner cap, the outer cap having a convoluted wall. An inlet conduit termination fitting has an outboard fitting section, with an o-ring in a circumferential groove, disposed inside the inlet cap, and an inboard fitting section attached to the inlet conduit outboard end. A cap heat shield encloses the inlet cap and a conduit heat shield is attached to the inlet conduit. The lubricant inlet assembly is mounted to an engine casing with a low-conductivity insulating gasket between the cap base and the engine casing.

  • Publication number: 20030237005
Abstract: A method and system for protecting digital objects transmitted over a network. A sender creates a notification specifying an object to be delivered to a recipient as well the object's security policy and any authentication information required to access the object. The notification is sent to an object server which creates an identifier associated with the object and sends an e-mail message with the identifier to the recipient. The recipient may access the object by referencing the identifier. The object server authenticates the request for the object and redirects the request to a security server. The security server protects the object in accordance with the security policy designated by the sender and combines the object with mobile code to enforce the security policy at the recipient's computer. The protected object is sent to the recipient.

  • Publication number: 20030051172
Abstract: A method and system for protecting objects stored on network servers are presented. An object server runs computer software that designates which objects are to be protected and the security policy for that object. If the object server receives a request for a protected object, the object server creates an enhanced request containing cryptographically protected data related to the request and to the requested object; this enhanced request is redirected to a security server. The security server authenticates the request, retrieves the requested object from the object server, a file server associated with the security server, or a local cache, encrypts the object, and combines the encrypted object with mobile code, the security policy, and object controls to implement the policy. This package is then sent to the requester, which executes the mobile code, resulting in the installation of the security policy and object controls on the requester computer.

  • Publication number: 20020046350
Abstract: A system and method for establishing a log file which may be used to create an audit trail are presented. A security server maintains a log file of actions performed by a requester and the security server which are related to protected objects. Object controls instantiated with the object on the requester device transmit an encrypted descriptor of the action to the security server and may prevent the requester device from taking any action (viewing, editing, printing, etc.) if there is no secure connection to the security server. The security server will record the information received from the requester device, along with other data, to the log file as well as recording a descriptor of any of the security server's actions taken which relate to the protection of objects.

This package is then sent to the requester, which executes the mobile code, resulting in the instantiation of the security policy and object controls on the requester computer. The mobile code will execute tests to ensure proper instantiation of the object controls.

  • Patent number: 4962896
Abstract: A conveyor for conveying material from one location to another location includes a device for contacting the material on the conveyor as the material is being conveyed to crush, break, pulverize, or otherwise attenuate the material. The material attenuating device is particularly well suited for use on vibratory conveyors but can also be used in conjunction with other types of conveyors such as belt conveyors and the like. The material attenuating device includes a lever pivotally mounted for oscillatory motion. The lever is connected to the conveyor, or to a drive for the conveyor. The free end of the lever has a tool for contacting the material on the conveyor as it is being conveyed as the lever oscillates to crush, break, pulverize or otherwise attenuate the material.
