The insulator housing includes a first cylindrical end and a second cylindrical end having a hollow insulator body. The first end and/or second end is provided with a cylindrical flange for attaching the insulator housing to an external device at a first end of the flange. A strengthening element is arranged at a second end of the flange.

Abstract: A method includes displaying a first item on an electronic device and detecting a gesture requesting display of a list. In response to detecting the gesture, a first plurality of representations of items in the list is displayed in a first area while displaying at least a part of the first item in a second area. A characteristic of the gesture that identifies a second item from the list is detected. In response to detecting the characteristic of the gesture, a representation of the second item is displayed as a focused item in the first area. In response to detecting discontinuation of the gesture, the second item is displayed and display of the list is discontinued.

Abstract: A switching apparatus for closing and/or opening an electric circuit. It has an actuating unit and a bistable mechanism. The actuating unit is linearly movable between a first end position in which the switching apparatus is in a closed state and a second end position in which the switching apparatus is in an open state. The linear movement defines an axis. The bistable mechanism is arranged to ensure that the actuating unit is held in either of the end positions. The bistable mechanism includes a cam means mechanically connected to the actuating unit and at least one cam follower. The invention also relates to a use of the invented apparatus.

Abstract: A device is described. The device comprises a processor configured to communicate with a display and detect a user selection indicative of a message items view. The processor, in response to the detected user selection, is further configured to obtain message data items via a message application executable on the device; arrange the message data items in a two-dimensional scheme; generate display data of the two-dimensional scheme of message data items for display; and output the generated data to the display. A method for a device is also described.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure there is provided a method performed in an electronic device associated with an input device, the method comprising: in a first user interface state, in response to the input device receiving a user input at a first region of a graphical user interface, GUI, the first region located adjacent an edge of the GUI, transitioning to a second, different, user interface state; and, in the second user interface state, in response to the input device receiving a user input at a second region, spaced from the first region, transitioning back to the first user interface state. An electronic device and computer program product are also provided.

The device comprising: a first processor and a first display coupled to the first processor, the first processor being configured to generate first display data, pertaining to elements of a first active application currently being executed on the device, for display on the first display, and generate link data pertaining to a subset of the elements of the first active application; wherein the first processor is configured to output the generated link data to a second display. A system and method are also described.

Abstract: Methods and devices for navigating lists of items using multiple displays are described. An example method is implemented on an electronic device having a first display. The method includes displaying a list of items on the first display, at least one of the list of items having respective associated content not visible in the displayed list of items; and while displaying the list of items on the first display, sending the associated content for one or more of the at least one item to a second display for display on the second display.

Abstract: A method is disclosed comprising generating, using computing apparatus, in relation to a repository of computer-readable messages accessible by the computing apparatus, a graphical representation for display using a display device of a list of file attachments attached to said messages. The listed file attachments are grouped by the messages to which they are respectively attached. Each list entry may correspond to the attachments of one message.

Abstract: An electrostatic precipitator having a collecting electrode plate assembly, including at least two electrode plates disposed substantially in a parallel to each other in the vertical plane within the electrostatic precipitator, forming a space between the collecting electrode plates, and a discharge electrode assembly interposed in said spaces, wherein the electrode assembly passing at least a supporting structure of the collecting electrode plate assembly. The supporting structure is provided with an electrical screening device at least in the area of the supporting structure facing said electrode assembly.

Abstract: An electrical insulator including: a first connector of an electrically conducting material; a second connector of an electrically conducting material; and an electrically insulating material being arranged between the first connector and the second connector, insulating the connectors from each other; wherein a part of the first connector extends past a part of the second connector, partly enveloping part of the second connector. The invention also relates to a surge arrester arrangement, to a use of an electrical insulator for insulating a surge arrester, and to a method for production of such an electrical insulator.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method for controlling a device (1) allowing a user (25) to walk or run on the spot in an arbitrary direction and a device (1) therefor. The device (1) comprises a stationary central platform (9) surrounded by a convex polygon shaped deck (6) in level therewith, said deck (6) being divided into trapezoid shaped roller conveyors. Each conveyor has rollers in parallel with the trapezoid bases, the shorter one of these adjoining said platform and the longer one of these forming a side of said polygonal shape. The rollers of said conveyors are driven in order to move a user (25) stepping thereon back to said central platform (9). The rollers as such are continuous circular cylindrical, and beneath them there is a driving belt for frictional driving engagement with the rollers from below.

Abstract: A method of generating display objects comprises operating a processor to: detect an occurrence of an event; define a display time associated with a predefined duration following the occurrence of the event; generate a first display object for display for by a display device for the predefined duration, wherein the first display object is representative of the detected event; output the first display object on the display device; generate a second display object for display by a display device for the predefined duration, wherein the second display object is indicative of the display time; output the second display object on the display device; and update the second display object based on an elapsed time of the predefined duration. A device and executable computer program for performing the steps of the method is also provided.

Abstract: A switching apparatus for closing and/or opening an electric circuit. It has an actuating unit and a bistable mechanism. Provided at the display is one or more of: a current workspace identifier; and, an application association identifier identifying an association between an active application and a given one of the two different workspaces.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for controlling an electronic device. The method includes detecting a gesture on a touch-sensitive input mechanism of the electronic device and operating the electronic device in a first mode associated with the gesture. The method may also include, prior to detecting the gesture, determining that the electronic device is operating in a second mode and displaying a visual indicator associated with the first mode upon determining the second mode.

Abstract: A method includes detecting a swipe gesture from an initial touch location on a touch-sensitive display of an electronic device; determining touch attributes for the swipe gesture; and performing a lock function if the touch attributes correspond to a stored swipe gesture associated with the lock function. Further lock functions may be activated by detection of attributes of a further stored swipe gesture.
