  • Patent number: 11989519
Abstract: Disclosed herein is computer technology that applies natural language processing (NLP) techniques to training data to generate information used to train a natural language generation (NLG) system to produce output that stylistically resembles the training data. In this fashion, the NLG system can be readily trained with training data supplied by a user so that the NLG system is adapted to produce output that stylistically resembles such training data. In an example, an NLP system detects a plurality of linguistic features in the training data. These detected linguistic features are then aggregated into a specification data structure that is arranged for training the NLG system to produce natural language output that stylistically resembles the training data. Parameters in the specification data structure can be linked to objects in an ontology used by the NLG system to facilitate the training of the NLG system based on the detected linguistic features.

  • Patent number: 11989725
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of enabling conditional access to resource. The condition is the performance of a task. The task can be performed by one party or entity on behalf of another party or entity. The person, device or system controlling access to the resource creates a task that includes the broadcast of a transaction on the blockchain. In particular the transaction (part of the task) has a plurality of outputs, including a locking-output. Additional transactions or mechanism are created that enable access to the resource only when the task has been completed. Access to the resource is achieved by (i) the initial broadcast of the resource that makes it conditionally available and (ii) the subsequent broadcast of the transaction, which fulfils or satisfies the condition that enables access to the resource. Multi-signatures and a refund mechanism are used by the parties to lock access to the resource. These multi-signatures are spread between the stages and transactions.

  • Publication number: 20240163098
Abstract: A method of controlling and coordinating of processing steps in a distributed system is disclosed. The method may be implemented by a node in a cyclically ordered set of nodes in a blockchain network. The method includes receiving, from an immediately subsequent node, values corresponding to combinations of possible outcomes of processing steps associated with nodes from that node to a node preceding a supervisor node. The values are based on public keys associated with the nodes corresponding to possible outputs and the supervisor's public key. State values are generated based on the values and public keys corresponding to the possible outcomes further to a processing step of the node shared with the supervisor and a previous node. A blockchain transaction is prepared to transmit control of a resource from the node to the subsequent node upon supply of unlocking values corresponding to the received values.

  • Publication number: 20240152913
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for participating in a blockchain-based data record distribution process which includes multiple input addresses for input nodes and multiple output addresses for output nodes. One or more input nodes of the group of input nodes perform steps of: collaborating to determine a stealth address, forming a first transaction that pools data records to be transferred to the stealth address, and transmitting the first transaction to be validated and incorporated into the blockchain. One or more output nodes of the group of output nodes perform steps of: searching the blockchain to find the first transaction, identifying the stealth address, forming a second transaction that distributes pooled data records, collaborating via a threshold signature scheme to sign the second transaction, and transmitting the second transaction to be validated and incorporated into the blockchain. The invention may be used in conjunction with any blockchain implementation.

  • Publication number: 20240155304
Abstract: A method (700) for rendering an audio signal of an audio source (211, 212, 213) in a virtual reality rendering environment (180) is described. The method (700) comprises determining (701) whether or not a directivity pattern (232) of the audio source (211, 212, 213) is to be taken into account for a listening situation of a listener (181) within the virtual reality rendering environment (180). Furthermore, the method (700) comprises rendering (702) an audio signal of the audio source (211, 212, 213) without taking into account the directivity pattern (232) of the audio source (211, 212, 213), if it is determined that the directivity pattern (232) of the audio source (211, 212, 213) is not to be taken into account for the listening situation of the listener (181).

  • Patent number: 11979385
Abstract: A blockchain-implemented transaction from an originator node is to be broadcast. The originator node is communicatively coupled to proxy nodes. The method, implemented by a proxy node, includes: receiving a transaction including an input taking x+r units of computing resources, an output providing x units to the output address and another output providing d+r units to a 1-of-n multi-signature address unlockable by any one of a set of private keys associated the proxy nodes. The proxy node selects a quantity of computing resources, t units, to be allocated to the proxy node for broadcasting the transaction and having it included in the blockchain and generates a further transaction taking d+r units sourced from the multi-signature address and an output providing t units to the proxy node. The proxy node broadcasts both transactions timed to permit their inclusion in the same block of the blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20240143194
Abstract: Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) wherein a non-volatile memory (NVM) array provides a memory bank for the RNN. The RNN may include a Neural Turning Machine (NTM) and the memory bank may be an NTM matrix stored in the NVM array. In some examples, a data storage device (DSD) that controls the NVM array includes both a data storage controller and a separate NTM controller. The separate NTM controller accesses the NTM matrix of the NVM array directly while bypassing flash translation layer (FTL) components of the data storage controller. Additionally, various majority wins error detection and correction procedures are described, as well as various disparity count-based procedures.

  • Publication number: 20240140651
Abstract: A flexible container has a bag body and a sealing portion at the upper end of the bag body's sidewalls. The sealing portion includes a strip and a groove which are relatively arranged on the inner side of the sealing portion. The strip has a convex mushroom-shaped cross-section, and the groove has a concave mushroom-shaped cross-section. The strip and groove interlock by an interference snap fit connection. The ends of the strip and groove transition from the mushroom-shaped cross-section to a rectangular-shaped cross-section which also snap fit together. The mushroom-shaped cross-section in the middle portion of the strip and groove create a sealing portion that is easy to seal and difficult to open. To help open the sealing portion, tabs extend up from the bag body's sidewalls. There is a cross-sectional transition design near the end, and the transitional shape can increase the sealing force to optimize the anti-leak effect.

  • Publication number: 20240143492
Abstract: A system that includes a failed test detector and a task updater can automatically update tasks associated with consistent failures of software tests in a software development management platform. The failed test detector can use a set of evidence of test (EOT) files that indicate software testing results over a period of time to identify tests that are consistently failing when executed against versions of a software application. The task updater can automatically create tasks associated with such consistently-failing tests in the software development management platform. The task updater can also automatically close existing tasks associated with tests, in the software development management system, if the failed test detector determines that those tests are no longer failing consistently.
