Publication number: 20190208900Abstract: Apparatus for cleaning and drying at least one plural cosmetic brush having a handle from which a plurality of bristles projects outward is provided. The apparatus includes a housing, a support member, a fan, and a wiping member. The support member is configured for supporting the handle of at least one cosmetic brush with the bristles of the brush located within a drying space into which a stream of air from the fan is directed. The wiping member sweeps across the bristles to cause them to separate, whereupon the air stream reaches between them blow any debris on the bristles off of the bristles and to dry any moisture or wetness on the bristles if there is any such moisture or wetness on the bristles.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 16, 2018Publication date: July 11, 2019Inventors: Daniel K. Patent number: 7478766Abstract: A portable, battery-powered sprayer for dispensing two liquid products at the same time. A reservoir cartridge having two liquid chambers is removably installable in a reciprocating bay in the housing. First and second mating pairs of fluid connectors each have a component mounted on the cartridge and a component mounted in the housing. A cam on a pivotable lever causes the bay to move the fluid connector components into and out of engagement. The fluid connector components permit fluid flow when they are joined and prevent it when they are separated. A support beam locks the housing components of the fluid connectors in fixed relation to one another. A guide strip locks the cartridge components in the same fixed relation to one another. A docking station in the bay locates the guide strip.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2005Date of Patent: January 20, 2009Assignee: Clarke Consumer Products, Inc.Inventors: J. Lyell Clarke, III, Daniel K. Patent number: 7178743Abstract: A portable, battery-powered sprayer for dispensing two liquid products at the same time includes first and second nozzles which receive first and second liquids and first and second air supplies. The nozzles are arranged to dispense the liquids at different flow rates, with different droplet sizes, and into different target zones. A low battery sensor prevents operation when the batteries have insufficient power to produce the intended flow rates and droplet sizes.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2004Date of Patent: February 20, 2007Assignee: Clarke Consumer Products, Inc.Inventors: J. Lyell Clarke, III, Anthony Kevin Magro, Daniel K. Childs, Julie Bates

Patent number: 6843627Abstract: A wrenchless clamp assembly is provided to secure a tool disc, such as a circular saw blade, to a shaft of a power tool. The blade clamp assembly includes an outer flange positionable against an outer side of the blade and a manually tightenable click bolt that includes a movable click member operable to selectively engage the outer flange for rotationally locking or unlocking the bolt. In an embodiment, the click member moves alternatingly between axially engaged and disengaged positions according to sequential rotational increments of the click member relative to the bolt body. Accordingly, the click bolt can be installed by hand and rotationally locked without a need for high torque, and the click bolt can be easily removed by hand when the click member is moved to the disengaged position, axially free from the outer flange. In an embodiment, the click bolt permits limited torque applied during installation.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2002Date of Patent: January 18, 2005Assignee: Credo Technology CorporationInventors: Daniel K. Childs, Jan Peter Houben, Michael Holzer, Leon Bujalski

Patent number: 6820821Abstract: The invention is an automated sprayer for spraying the walls of a bath and shower enclosure with a cleanser. The sprayer has a housing that can be mounted inside the shower enclosure and that defines a tray in which an inverted bottle of cleanser is stored. The bottom of the tray has a tube extending downwardly along a longitudinal axis through which the cleanser can pass. A motorized head disposed beneath the tube can be rotated about the axis for metering cleanser from the bottle and spraying cleanser outward. The sprayer includes timer circuitry that delays commencement of a spray for a set time and automatically stops spraying after a predetermined period. The sprayer also includes a system for signaling the beginning of a spray cycle including audio and visual alarms. An automated method of cleaning the shower enclosure is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2001Date of Patent: November 23, 2004Assignee: S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc.Inventors: Brian K.
