Publication number: 20240162696Abstract: A cable support includes a support body with a saddle configured to support one or more cables, and a stem and a leg that extend from opposite ends of the saddle. A securing member is coupled to the leg. The securing member is movable between a first configuration configured to secure one or more cables within the saddle and a second configuration configured to permit one or more cables to be moved into or out of the saddle. The leg including a retaining tab that releasably secures the securing member in the second configuration.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 22, 2024Publication date: May 16, 2024Inventors: Eric J. Publication number: 20240144822Abstract: A vehicle may have devices such as knobs, sliders, touch sensors, cameras, and other devices for gathering user input, capturing images, and gathering other information. Control circuitry in the vehicle may display an interactive route map on a display in the vehicle body. The route map may have a route line depicting a route between a starting point and an ending point for a journey. The control circuitry may move a vehicle icon in forward and reverse along the route line in response to the user input to select a vehicle icon location. The control circuitry may display media that corresponds to the selected vehicle icon location. The media may include an image captured by the camera, media retrieved from remote databases, and/or other content associated with the location of the vehicle icon.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 4, 2024Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Daniel De Rocha Rosario, Kurt R Stiehl, Matthew J Allen, David A Krimsley, Kevin M Lynch

Patent number: 11951505Abstract: According to some embodiments, a system and method for dispensing a floor coating in a specified ratio of multiple components is disclosed. The system and method may set and maintain a desired ratio of the multiple components by controlling, with a controller, a drive rate of respective pumps configured for propelling the components from a reservoir to a mixer or a dispenser. The controller may be responsive to at least one of a measured actual drive rate, an environmental condition, an actual usage of each component, and an operational parameter of the system, for adjusting a drive rate of the respective pumps to compensate for discrepancies that may affect the ratio of the multiple components.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2019Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: SWIMC LLCInventors: Kyle Sanford Smith, Murty Venkata Bhamidipati, David Royston Hughes, Robert S. Publication number: 20240102811Abstract: A first input to a mobile device indicates a first navigation destination at a first level of specificity. The mobile device initiates navigation towards a first location corresponding to the first navigation destination. While navigation towards the first location corresponding to the first navigation destination is ongoing and before reaching the first location, in accordance with a determination that one or more first criteria are satisfied, the mobile device prompts for an input for determination a second location corresponding to a second navigation destination with a second level of specificity, the second level of specificity more specific than the first level of specificity. The mobile device receives a second input in response to the prompt. In accordance with a determination that the second input satisfies one or more second criteria, the mobile device initiates navigation towards the second location corresponding to the second navigation destination.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Inventors: Kevin M. LYNCH, Matthew J. ALLEN, David A. KRIMSLEY, Christopher P. FOSS, Daniel DE ROCHA ROSARIO, Andrew S. KIM, Arian BEHZADI, Stephen B. LYNCH

Publication number: 20240093221Abstract: This disclosure provides recombinant DNA constructs and transgenic plants having enhanced traits such as increased yield, increased nitrogen use efficiency, and enhanced drought tolerance or water use efficiency. Transgenic plants may include field crops as well as plant propagules and progeny of such transgenic plants. Methods of making and using such transgenic plants are also provided. This disclosure also provides methods of producing seed from such transgenic plants, growing such seed, and selecting progeny plants with enhanced traits. Also disclosed are transgenic plants with altered phenotypes which are useful for screening and selecting transgenic events for the desired enhanced trait.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 1, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Edwards M. Patent number: 7296398Abstract: A method for assembling a gas turbine engine that includes providing a first fan assembly configured to rotate in a first rotational direction, rotatably coupling a second fan assembly to the first fan assembly, wherein the second fan assembly is configured to rotate in a second rotational direction that is opposite the first rotational direction, coupling a first shaft to the first fan assembly and to a first turbine rotor that is configured to rotate in a first rotational direction, coupling a second shaft coupled to the second fan assembly and to a second turbine rotor that is configured to rotate in a second rotational direction that is opposite the first rotational direction, and coupling a lubrication system to the gas turbine engine such that a lubrication fluid is channeled through the first shaft to lubricate at least one of the first and second fan assemblies.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2004Date of Patent: November 20, 2007Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: Thomas O. Patent number: 6298583Abstract: This disclosure relates to a camp shoe that is similar in most aspects to a typical shoe. However, to make it easy to pack and tote in a knapsack, for example, this shoe has construction features that permit it to be folded flat to conform with sole of the shoe and, therefore, be easily tucked in and toted in luggage where spare space is typically at a premium. The construction features include a rigid heel counter; a heel support flexibly attached to said heel counter; a pair of upper ankle supports flexibly attached to said heel support; and a pair of lower ankle supports flexibly attached to said upper ankle supports and said heel counter.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2000Date of Patent: October 9, 2001Inventor: Daniel M. Patent number: 5671777Abstract: A coupling for connecting fluid conduits comprises a coupler and an adapter. The coupler has a frusto-conical seat at its distal end. Fixed and pivotal jaws project beyond the frusto-conical seat and are engageable with a clamping surface on the adapter. A lever operated, cam member swings the pivotal jaw to a position in which the coupler is locked in sealed relation on the adapter. An interlock rod prevents rotation of the lever from this rest position unless the coupler is positioned to be locked on the adapter. The coupler and adapter each comprise normally closed poppet valves. When the operating lever is swung from its rest position to a ready position, the pivotal jaw is swung to its locking position. When the operating letter is swung to a further angular extent, to a full flow position, the coupler poppet is displaced outwardly by a crank/link mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 1995Date of Patent: September 30, 1997Assignee: Dover CorporationInventors: Daniel M. Patent number: 5368343Abstract: A quick connect/disconnect coupling comprises locking levers. Pull rings facilitate pivoting of the locking levels to a release position. The pull rings are resiliently mounted on the levers in positions that prevent the pulls rings from interfering with movement of the locking levers to their locking positions.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 1993Date of Patent: November 29, 1994Assignee: Dover CorporationInventor: Daniel M.
