  • Patent number: 11947778
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to navigating a collection of media items. In accordance with one embodiment, in response to receiving an input, a device displays a first view of a collection of media items, including concurrently displaying a representation of a first time period and a representation of a second time period. In accordance with a determination that a current time is associated with a first recurring temporal event: the representation of the first time period includes a first representative media item and the representation of the second time period includes a second representative media item. In accordance with a determination that the current time is associated with a second recurring temporal event, the representation of the first time period includes a third representative media item and the representation of the second time period includes a fourth representative media item.

  • Publication number: 20240068132
Abstract: Nucleation enhancement and/or growth rate improvement of mesophase in pitch compositions derived from hydrocarbon feedstocks can be achieved by: reacting in a reaction zone a blend comprising an isotropic feed and a seeding agent, to produce a reacted pitch having a mesophase content of about 10 vol % to 100 vol %, based on the total volume of the reacted pitch, and a softening point (Tsp) below 400° C.; wherein the seeding agent is about 50 wt % or less, based on the total weight of the blend; wherein the seeding agent has a mesophase content of about 0.01 vol % to 100 vol %, based on the total volume of the seeding agent.

  • Patent number: 5928673
Abstract: An apparatus for neutralizing the leg of a person during the molding of an orthotic is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base, a movable standard supporting a knee caliper and ankle caliper. The knee caliper and ankle caliper have arms movable by a crank to center the knee and ankle on a plane extending through the orthotic. The calipers have height adjustments.

  • Patent number: 4932280
Abstract: A coaxial drive shaft system is provided with an overload shearable coupling for driving multiple outputs from a single input. A pair of coaxial, telescoped drive shafts are provided as independent outputs to a pair of driven devices. A singular input shaft is coupled to the drive shafts by a gearbox for simultaneously rotating the drive shafts. A shear section is formed in one of the drive shafts for rupturing the one drive shaft in response to an overload condition thereon, while the other coaxial, telescoped drive shaft continues to be rotated by the singular input shaft.

  • Patent number: 4713982
Abstract: Reductions in weight, frontal area and overhang moment in an aircraft engine gear box and electrical generating system are achieved in a construction including a gear box housing 20 provided with an input shaft 16 connectable to a power take-off 12. A differential 76 is disposed within the housing 20 and includes a carrier shaft 72 mounting meshed planet gears 82, 84. The differential includes a control ring gear 88 to mesh with the planet gear 84 and an output ring gear 92 meshed with the planet gear 82. The carrier shaft 72 is coupled to the input shaft 16. A hydraulic speed trimmer 54 is mounted on the exterior of the housing 20 and includes two pump/motor units 124, 128, each having a shaft 108, 110, extending into the housing 20 to be respectively connected to the carrier shaft 72 and the control ring gear 88. A generator 102 is mounted on the gear box housing 20 and includes a shaft 100 extending into the interior 22 of the housing 20 to be coupled to the output ring gear 92.
