  • Patent number: 11897608
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for facilitating sampling water of water bodies, in accordance with some embodiments. Further, the apparatus comprises a primary housing, a secondary housing, a movement assembly, a sensor, a storage device, and a power source. Further, the secondary housing is submerged in a water body based on disposing of the primary housing. Further, the secondary housing receives a water sample from a depth of the water body in a secondary interior cavity through an opening of the secondary housing based on submerging of the secondary housing in the water body in the depth. Further, the movement assembly transitions the secondary housing between a retracted position and an extended position for the submerging. Further, the sensor generates sensor data based on detecting a characteristic of the water sample. Further, the storage device stores the sensor data. Further, the power source powers the sensor, and the storage device.

  • Publication number: 20220244145
Abstract: An environmental water sampling drone attachment device has a mounting prong, a pivoting clamp, a pivot axle, at least one mounting harnesses, and at least one container The mounting prong is a shaft that attaches the present invention to an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The pivoting clamp is used to hold the pivot axle in place. The pivot axle can rotate within the pivoting clamp and is fixed to the mounting harness. The mounting harness holds and rotates the container. The container is a device that gathers water when placed into a body of water. Thus, the container is held by the mounting harness when gathering water samples until the container is removed by a user. As a result, this device is able to gather water samples and hold the water samples within the container until the water samples need to be removed by the user.

  • Patent number: 10905844
Abstract: An improved aerosol dispensing apparatus includes an aerosol container, a discharge piece movably mounted to the aerosol container, a flow control valve mounted within the discharge piece, a battery, and an electronically controlled metering valve electronically connected to the battery and in fluid communication with the flow control valve. The flow control valve is movable between an open position wherein a volume of an aerosol formulation is directed from the aerosol container through the flow control valve to the metering valve, and a closed position, wherein the metering valve is configured to precisely control a flow of the aerosol formulation outward of the discharge piece. A solenoid is electronically connected to the battery and is movable between an actuated position wherein the solenoid urges the flow control valve into the open position, and an un-actuated position wherein the flow control valve remains in the closed position.

The metering valve is movable between an open position wherein a volume of an aerosol formulation is directed from the aerosol container through the metering valve to the electronically controlled flow control valve, and a closed position wherein the aerosol formulation is not permitted to flow through the metering valve. The electronically controlled flow control valve is configured to precisely control a flow of the aerosol formulation outward of the discharge piece.

  • Patent number: 4075299
Abstract: A plurality of groups of mandrels are arranged for movement successively through a plurality of workstations with each group being worked on at a station while other groups are being worked on simultaneously at other stations to produce continuously automatically groups of retractile cords. Cordage is fed from a supply into clamping engagement with each of the mandrels in the group in a cord-loading position and then wound helically in a plurality of spaced-apart convolutions on each of the mandrels of that group after which the wound cords are severed from the cordage supplies. The wound cords are advanced incrementally through a heating zone, wherein the cords are exposed to radiant heating supplemented by preheating of the mandrels, while cordage is being wound on the next successive groups of mandrels.

  • Patent number: 4043561
Abstract: A puzzle includes a set of graduated size markers, each one having a different whole number indicia thereon, the indicia including the numbers 2 through 6. A base has a set of five positions on the face thereof, and one of the positions is a starting position and has a starting indicia associated therewith. Another one of the positions is a finishing position and has a finishing indicia associated therewith. At least one other one of the positions is a limited position and has indicia associated therewith designating certain ones only but not all of the whole numbers 2 through 6. The markers are stacked in a vertical pile at the starting position, and they are then moved seriatum from the pile to other positions with smaller markers always being placed above larger markers according to the puzzle rules. Only those markers having corresponding number indicia as the number indicia of the limited position may be moved to the limited position.
