  • Patent number: 7162755
Abstract: A plumbing fixture has a mounting assembly for removably mounting the plumbing fixture to a sink deck with a sink hole. The plumbing fixture has a housing, a water outlet, a tubing assembly fluidly connected to the water outlet, and a cavity. The mounting assembly comprises a mounting member having a bore. The mounting member is positioned between the housing and the sink and is adapted to be received in the cavity of the housing. A means removably attaches the housing to the mounting member. At least one hollow member connects to the mounting member. The hollow member extends from the slot in the mounting member and passes through the sink hole. The hollow member is adapted to receive the tubing assembly. A means secures the hollow member to the sink.

  • Patent number: 4687238
Abstract: A gate lock is disclosed for use with swinging gates of the chain link type which includes upper and lower hollow cylindrical housings respectively affixed to adjacent vertical elements of swinging gates. A sliding bolt is in vertical sliding and rotatable arrangement within the bore of the upper housing and is movable between an upper, unlocked position and a lower locked position wherein the bottom of the bolt enters the bore of the lower housing. The lower housing includes a plurality of vertically spaced, key positioning plates which are arranged to require insertion and removal of an operating key in angularly offset relationship from the housing axis. The key positioning plates are further designed to axially align the key after insertion whereby the key head can engage a shaped recess in a threaded locking bolt to threadedly engage and lock the sliding bolt of the upper housing within the lower housing.

  • Patent number: 4570954
Abstract: A load carrier frame is disclosed which includes a spaced pair of fabricated rails. Each rail includes a longitudinal carrier axle track to receive therein the respective ends of a luggage carrier or other wheeled vehicle axle. The track is shaped to elevate the vehicle wheels above the bottom of the fabricated rails to permit sliding the carried load up and down flights of stairs and to lower the vehicle wheels below the bottom of the fabricated rails to permit the vehicle wheels to be utilized to roll the load over longitudinal surfaces with the load carrier frame attached to the wheeled vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4524847
Abstract: A foldable ladder is disclosed which includes in combination a base section and an extension section. A pair of longitudinally aligned slots are provided in the base section rails near the top to receive therein the ends of a transverse pivot bar. The tops of the base section rails are secured to the pivot bar in a manner to permit pivotal movement of the extension section about the base section. The base section is provided with a pair of upwardly open braces and a pair of laterally spaced straps. By utilizing the braces, the sections can be secured in longitudinal juxtaposed planar alignment. By employing the straps, the sections can be secured in angular, generally A-shaped relationship. Additionally, the extension section can be secured within base section in a storage or low height configuration. In one embodiment, one of the rails of the base section can be equipped with a ground contacting member to facilitate movement of the ladder across a surface.
