The mounting assembly having a clamping member pivotally coupled to the trap, such that the clamping member can rotate about an axis of rotation relative to the trap, and an adjusting member that extends through an opening in the wall and through a bore in the clamping member. The adjusting member has a longitudinal axis that extends in a direction that is transverse to the axis of rotation, and rotation of the adjusting member about the longitudinal axis rotates the clamping member about the axis of rotation to secure the toilet base to the trap through the clamping member and the adjusting member.

The washer is configured to be positioned between the bolt and the flanged nut. The cap is configured to be removably coupled to the washer and to encase the substantially planar head of the bolt between the washer and the cap so as to conceal the substantially planar head from view and to prevent fluid from entering an area between the cap and the washer.

A passageway through the mounting tapers in an arcuate manner below the valve seat. There is also a guide support structure in the passageway, preferably centered. The guide support structure also has a tapered leg.

Thus, an elongated trapway can be accommodated without needing to position the siphon leg in the bathroom or behind the wall studs. In other embodiments the tank for the toilet is also positioned between studs of the room wall.

Abstract: A pullout storage structure for a bathroom cabinet, such as a vanity or medicine cabinet, has a hinge linkage for moving a storage unit between an opened and a closed position such that the storage unit travels an arcuate path and maintains its orientation. Smooth and easy movement of the pullout storage structure is facilitated by an over-center assist member. The assist member tends to close, and keep closed, as well as open, and keep open, the pullout structure.

Abstract: “Two piece” toilets have a toilet tank outlet valve that links the tank water with a bowl. A nut and gasket structure are provided to provide an essentially ball and socket type joint between the tank and bowl to permit correction for out of plumb conditions without significantly compromising seal integrity. The gasket has an outward lower curvature and is supported from the inside by the nut. Preferably the lower end of the nut is cut away or curved such that in some configurations the gasket can flex inwardly, while being otherwise supported by the nut.
