  • Publication number: 20210302258
Abstract: A method of determining a balancing solution for a rotating body that includes a wheel or wheel/tire assembly may include receiving balance parameters defining measured imbalance associated with the rotating body and receiving a set of constraints. At least one of the constraints may define a non-zero target correction of one of the balance parameters. The method may further include determining, via a selected optimization strategy, the balancing solution defining a correction to apply to the rotating body to achieve corrected balance parameters meeting the set of constraints.

  • Patent number: 10698587
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for a method of providing a user interface on a computing device. The method includes presenting a virtual keyboard on a display of the computing device, detecting input to the virtual keyboard. The method further includes, for each detected input, determining whether the input selects any of one or more delimiter keys, displaying a placeholder for the input responsive to the input not selecting any of the one or more delimiter keys, and receiving suggested candidate text from a word-level recognizer and replacing all currently displayed placeholders with the suggested candidate text responsive to the input selecting any of the one or more delimiter keys.

  • Patent number: 7435028
Abstract: The dispenser is comprised of a first sleeve that is substantially open at the top and the bottom. A product support is received into the first sleeve, this product support comprising a second sleeve. On the upper part of the second sleeve is a product supporting surface. The lower part of the second sleeve can be contacted by a person's finger to adjust the second sleeve within the first sleeve and to temporarily lock the second sleeve in the first sleeve. On the inner surface of the first sleeve and the outer surface of the second sleeve there are cooperating structures to maintain the second sleeve at a given position in the first sleeve upon the gripping of the first sleeve. In use the second sleeve is adjusted within the first sleeve by pushing up on the bottom of the second sleeve. The sides of the first sleeve are gripped in an appplication grip which holds the second sleeve within the first sleeve during application of the product.

  • Patent number: 6419412
Abstract: The cosmetic dispenser is comprised of a barrel that is closed at a lower end by a screw and elevator assembly and on the upper end by an integrally molded top wall. The integrally molded top wall has a weakened area at its periphery and a gripping means such as a loop whereby the top wall can be removed by severing the weakened area. The removed top wall is discarded and the screw turned to raise a portion above the sidewalls. The integrally molded top wall can be integrally molded with the barrel or it can be integrally molded to an adaptor which fits onto the top of the barrel to provide a compound curved top edge for comfort in applying the cosmetic to a skin surface. In this latter embodiment the top wall has a peripheral weakened area whereby the top wall is removed by severing this top wall at the peripheral weakened area. The structure of these embodiments provides a positively sealed and easily opened cosmetic dispenser.
