  • Patent number: 11922354
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining the efficiency of an organization by analyzing data feeds from various applications are disclosed. According to one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor a method for measuring efficiency may include: (1) receiving, from an enterprise software program, raw data related to an entity's performance; (2) calculating a plurality of efficiency metrics based on the raw data; (3) identifying a recommended action based on one of the efficiency metrics; and (4) automatically implementing the recommended action.

  • Patent number: 10436231
Abstract: A cable gripping apparatus comprising a plurality of jaw members, each jaw member being tapered on an outer surface thereof from a larger first end to a smaller second end, said plurality of jaw members being configured to receive and grip a cable therebetween. A cylindrical collar having external threads and a tapered internal bore is receivable of the tapered jaw members in the tapered internal bore. A cylindrical turnbuckle body having a threaded bore is receivable of the threaded cylindrical collar entirely within the turnbuckle bore. The cylindrical collar, plurality of jaw members, and cable gripped therewithin define collectively a collar sub-assembly receivable within the turnbuckle bore. When the turnbuckle body is rotated, the collar sub-assembly is moved axially within the threaded bore of the turnbuckle body, thus changing the tension in the cable.

  • Patent number: 6894813
Abstract: An integrated image module for a document scanner includes a one piece die cast housing having a datum element and a support element. An imaging sensor array is enclosed in the housing. An array bias element urges the imaging sensor array against the datum element to provide accurate placement of the sensor array relative to the housing. A transport mechanism is attached to the housing so that the position of the transport mechanism accurately corresponds to the position of the imaging sensor array. The lens and the lamp for illumination are also attached to the housing so that the primary components of the imaging portion of the scanner are contained in a single module.

  • Patent number: 4786006
Abstract: A transfer cartridge for photosensitive material includes an enclosure with an entry slot in one of its walls, and end caps to seal the opposite ends of the enclosure. A pair of rollers is disposed in aligned, parallel relationship within the enclosure, and a flexible, opaque belt extends between the rollers, preferably in figure 8-fashion. One roller is rigidly mounted upon an elongated shaft, while the second roller is elastically mounted upon a second elongated shaft through the use of a torsion spring. Drive gears on the exterior of the cartridge impart rotational movement to the rollers and the nip between the rollers grasps the leading edge of a length of photosensitive material and introduces same into the belt. The continued rotation of the rollers in opposite directions causes the belt to wrap the photosensitive material several times about one roller in a sandwich-like fashion.
