  • Patent number: 9357707
Abstract: The method for harvesting a blueberry field comprises the steps of carrying a number of empty blueberry containers on a first pair of lower arms of four-arm lift assembly of a blueberry harvester; transferring a first empty blueberry container onto a second pair of lower arms of the lift assembly; filling the first blueberry container with blueberries, and depositing the first blueberry container on the ground as soon as it is full. The steps of transferring, filling and depositing are repeated with each of the empty blueberry containers carried on the lift assembly of the harvester.

  • Patent number: 9249778
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vertical axis turbine rotor blade arrangement for a wind power generator adapted to rotate around a vertical axis. The vertical axis turbine rotor blade arrangement comprises a rotor blade having a first and a second end and being pivotally connected to a pivot arm. The pivot arm has a first and a second end and is pivotally connected to a base member. The rotor blade is adapted to be displaced between an active position and a retracted position. The base member and the pivot arm defines a horizontal plane when the rotor blade is in the active position, the base member is rotatable around a pole, the pole is configured to extend in a first direction.

  • Patent number: 4953384
Abstract: A magazine-type wiring accessory crimping tool comprises two handles articulated to each other which are squeezed together to form at least one crimping deformation in a wiring accessory disposed between them. One of the handles forms a magazine receiving a plurality of parallel wiring accessories to be dispensed and crimped. A dispenser is removably received in this handle and accommodates the plurality of wiring accessories. The other handle incorporates a crimping plate and the first mentioned handle includes a crosspiece aligned with this crimping plate adapted to withstand the crimping force applied by the crimping plate to a wiring accessory.

  • Patent number: 4940163
Abstract: A dispenser for wiring accessories has an elongate plate-like configuration and comprises a baseplate from which projects a bar extending transversely across the baseplate to a width less than the width of the baseplate. A longitudinal groove in the bar parallel to the baseplate runs the full length of the bar. A lip faces the longitudinal edge of the bar into which the groove opens. The lip is parallel to and spaced from this longitudinal edge. The baseplate is extended at one end of the bar. A transverse cradle on this extension receives a wiring accessory and a longitudinal finger projects cantilever-fashion from the bar over the cradle and is spaced from the cradle to retain a wiring accessory in the cradle.

  • Patent number: 4758186
Abstract: A side connection terminal block of the kind comprises a generally tubular stirrup member fixed relative to an insulating material body common to two connecting terminals and laterally accessible at each end from the outside of the body through a lateral opening therein, for insertion of an electrical conductor. A clamping screw is immobilized axially relative to the stirrup member but relatively rotatable. A cable clamp presses the electrical conductor against a connecting link common to the two connecting terminals. The cable clamp which is disposed inside the stirrup member is prevented from rotating relative thereto and is interlocked with said clamping screw. The clamping screw is entirely disposed within the stirrup member common thereto.

  • Patent number: 4663928
Abstract: A machine for winding, with a very short pitch, on a cable (1), at least one metal sheathing wire (5), comprising a first means for translatably moving a rectilinear portion of the cable in accordance with its axis and at least one coil (4) for distribution of said wire arranged on a coil-holder (3) subjected to turning around said cable in a perpendicular plane to said axis, with said wire passing on a grooved pulley (8) which is arranged between the coil and the cable and which has a fixed axis in relation to the coil, characterized in that the pulley (8) is provided with a driving means (9, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23) in rotation at an adjustable speed.

  • Patent number: 4397514
Abstract: A self-clamping electrical connector or terminal block is disclosed having one or more entrance passages for inserting a corresponding number of conductive cores of leads. A U-shaped metal guide member is mounted in the housing and a leaf spring part with a corresponding number of leaf springs each having an angled portion extending between the legs of the guide member. The angled portion is adapted to clamp the conductive core against one of the legs upon insertion of the lead. Each leaf spring comprises clipping means including a bowed portion connected to the angled portion and a flat portion. The bowed portion bears on the inner surface of the other leg of the guide member and the flat portion bears against the outer surface of said other leg. A lug may be provided on the leg to prevent the leaf spring part from slipping off the guide member.
