  • Publication number: 20240143425
Abstract: An anomaly diagnosis system obtains a plurality of anomaly signals corresponding to a plurality of sensor signals of a physical system and segments one or more anomaly signals into a plurality of time segments. The system determines an anomaly score for each time segment based on anomaly values of the one or more anomaly signals during the time segment and identifies an anomaly time interval corresponding to at least one consecutive time segment within the plurality of time segments. The system clusters the plurality of anomaly signals within the anomaly time interval to identify an anomaly group of sensor signals associated with the anomaly time interval and determines an aggregate anomaly score for the anomaly group. The system generates a graphical user interface presenting a representation of the anomaly group of sensor signals and the aggregate anomaly scores and causes the graphical user interface to be displayed on a user device.

  • Publication number: 20240112016
Abstract: A computer system for managing a machine learning model that detects potential anomalies in the operation of a complex system is disclosed. In some embodiments, the computer system is programmed to receive sensor signal data originally produced by sensors of the complex system. The sensor signal data can include values for multiple sensor signals at multiple resolutions. The computer system is programmed to train, from given sensor signal data, the machine learning model that comprises one or more transformers, each transformer capturing a set of relationships between signals in a predetermined group of signals. During training, the computer system is programmed to also establish an expected range for an indicator of the relationship. The computer system is programmed to then execute the machine learning model on new sensor signal data and take remedial steps when any computed indicator falls outside the expected range, indicating a potential anomaly in the operation of the complex system.

  • Publication number: 20180207863
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for additive manufacturing using extrusion and curing, and for multi-material spatially-modulated extrusion-based additive manufacturing are described, in which material composition and/or color can be varied locally to create abrupt transitions or controlled gradients, and in which objects may be fabricated from thermoset materials.

  • Publication number: 20060085280
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to an Internet search engine with e-commerce functionality (“e-commerce search engine”). In one embodiment of the present invention, users can use the e-commerce search engine to locate retail items by typing in a key-word search. The search results displayed by the e-commerce search engine are vendor-website listings for vendors that sell retail items related to search terms. Some vendor-website listings may contain quick links through which a user can shop for, and purchase, retail items from the vendor through the e-commerce search engine, without being re-directed to the vendor's website. Transaction information is later relayed from the e-commerce search engine to the vendor. The vendor can then confirm the order and the shipping information with the user and complete the transaction.

  • Publication number: 20050080433
Abstract: An improved castration loop for use in conjunction with a ligation tool is preformed from a section of surgical tubing to create a forward loop and a rearward loop. The preformed castration loop is created by crimping a deformable extruded aluminum clip to prevent the ends of the endless elastomeric loop from becoming separated. The forward loop is applied to an animal body part, and a second identical deformable extruded aluminum clip is crimped to adjacent sections of surgical tubing to prevent the elastomeric ligature material from slipping through the second extruded aluminum clip.

  • Patent number: 4711585
Abstract: An apparatus for providing perceptible cueing signals to an expectant mother to which she may synchronize her breathing for the purpose of easing delivery includes an oscillator of selectable frequency and duty cycle which drives physiologically perceptible transducers. In the preferred embodiment, the transducers are two different colored lamps, one of which is illuminated to cue inhalation and the other to cue exhalation. The apparatus includes a manual start/stop switch depressed by the expectant mother at the beginning and end, respectively, of a contraction period to initiate and terminate the periodic display of inhalation and exhalation lamps. The apparatus includes an elapsed time indicator initiated by a stop signal and halted by a start signal which measures and displays the time interval between contractions.
