Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention comprises a method and system for creating images that disappear when exposed to light. The method and system are suitable for commercial printing. In another aspect, the invention comprises a printed image that disappears when exposed to light. In yet another aspect, the image reappears when removed from exposure to light, permitting reuse. In a preferred embodiment, the invention comprises a item for amusement, preferably a collectible card, bearing an image that disappears when exposed to light and reappears thereafter when removed from exposure to light.

Abstract: Apparatus for displaying ingenuity and creativity consists of a plurality of modules that have first and second surfaces, that are planar, angled or curved, and that have slits in at least two sides of the perimeters of the modules. Portions of the modules constitute display surfaces adapted to carry segments of a pattern. The slits of each module may be interlinked with the slits of adjacent modules to form a composite assembly in two or three dimensions that displays a newly created pattern or a predetermined pattern or succession of predetermined patterns on one or both of the first and second surfaces of the composite assembly.

Abstract: A process for the air oxidation of hydrogen cyanide to isocyanic acid in the presence of a solid catalyst utilizing adiabatic conditions and controlling temperatures by the proportion of inert gas.

Abstract: Isocyanic acid is trimerized to cyanuric acid by contacting the isocyanic acid with liquid organic solvent, preferably polar solvent having high dielectric constant. The product is recovered as precipitate of good purity. Conversion and yield are high.
