  • Patent number: 6640384
Abstract: A portable blower-vacuum includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet. A motor is disposed within the housing for rotatably driving an impeller to transfer an airflow from the inlet to the outlet. The blower-vacuum also includes an elongated air outlet structure over which an elongated blower tube may be slid for attachment in a blower mode and removed in a vacuum mode. The outlet structure possesses a configuration that improves the ease with which the blower tube may be fitted to the air outlet. The blower-vacuum also includes a cover disposed over the inlet in a blower mode and a skirt adapted to cooperate with the cover and the inlet to substantially reduce or eliminate lateral airflow from entering the inlet from between the cover and the housing.

  • Patent number: 6171559
Abstract: A toothbrush sterilization unit for sterilizing the bristle-head of at least one toothbrush with a disinfectant. The toothbrush sterilization unit includes a housing having an interior compartment. The interior compartment includes a plurality of docking stations for holding in place a plurality of toothbrushes. The housing includes a pumping system assembly for dispensing a disinfectant on the bristle-heads of the toothbrushes during a dispensing cycle. The housing also includes a rotary fan and a heating member for drying the disinfectant on the bristle-heads of the plurality of toothbrushes during a drying cycle.

  • Patent number: 6160079
Abstract: Arylamines with electron donating groups such as alkyl and alkoxy groups in the meta position on the aromatic ring change the polymerization temperature of the benzoxazine prepared therefrom and offer an opportunity for an additional crosslinking site (the para position on the aromatic amine can couple to a Mannich base generated by the opening of the oxazine ring of the benzoxazine or a methylene bridge generated by a degradation reaction). Naphthenic amines with an alkyl or alkoxy substituent on the 5.sup.th through the 8.sup.th carbon atom on the naphthalene ring can function similarly. The polymers for benzoxazines prepared from at least 10% substituted aromatic or naphthenic amines are useful due to low polymerization temperatures and higher Tg (glass transition temperature).

  • Patent number: 4318551
Abstract: A support for a front suspension system in vehicles is disclosed. The front suspension system support of the present invention creates an opening between side members of a frame of the vehicle which is longitudinally between the transverse axis of the vehicle front wheels. The opening is utilized to place a radiator between the front wheels of the vehicle with the radiator supported between the frame longitudinal members.

  • Patent number: 4266792
Abstract: A fender and running board support for motor vehicles with a fiber glass body is disclosed. The running board and fender support of the present invention comprises a pair of spaced apart brackets with each bracket including a vertical portion extending downward from the vehicle frame and an outward extending horizontal portion integral with the vertical portion. A diagonal brace extends between the vertical portion and the horizontal portion and is welded thereto to provide additional structural integrity. A pair of spaced apart longitudinal members extend between the spaced apart brackets and are attached to the horizontal portion to abut and provide longitudinal support for the running board and front and rear fenders of the vehicle.
