  • Publication number: 20240156504
Abstract: An ablation system comprises: an ablation catheter and a console. The ablation catheter comprises: a shaft including a proximal end, a distal portion and a distal end; an ablation element configured to deliver energy to tissue; and a force maintenance assembly comprising a force maintenance element and configured to control and/or assess contact force between the ablation element and cardiac tissue. The console is configured to operably attach to the ablation catheter and comprises: an energy delivery assembly configured to provide energy to the ablation element. Methods of ablating tissue are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240074064
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for structuring metal-ceramic substrates and to a structured metal-ceramic substrate which can be used in particular in power electronics. In the method, a first metal-ceramic substrate and a second metal-ceramic substrate are etched, wherein, while being contacted with an etching solution that is capable of removing active metal from the bonding layer of the metal-ceramic substrates, the first metal-ceramic substrate and the second metal-ceramic substrate are positioned such that an orthogonal projection of the first metal-ceramic substrate onto a projection plane parallel to the metal layer of the first metal-ceramic substrate shades no more than 60% of the metal layer of the second metal-ceramic substrate.

  • Patent number: 6935357
Abstract: A water supply failure protection valve is connected to hot and cold water supplies. The failure protection valve is responsive to the loss of cold water supply pressure to shut off all water flow. The failure protection valve is responsive to the loss of hot water supply pressure to permit cold water flow through both a cold water flow path and a hot water flow path so as to ensure a substantial flow of water to a downstream fixture. The supply failure protection valve may be integrated with a thermal mixing valve to provide water at a preselected temperature.

  • Patent number: 6929188
Abstract: A tempering valve is connected to hot and cold water supplies. The tempering valve has first and second thermal valves, each of which mixes hot and cold water flows to produce a tempered flow at a selected temperature. the mixed flow from the first thermal valve bypasses through the second thermal valve. A small valve assembly is responsive to the flow rate therethrough. At low flow rates, direct hot and cold water flow paths to the second thermal valve are blocked. At or above a selected transition flow rate, the small valve assembly opens to permit direct hot and cold water flows from hot and cold water inlets to the second thermal valve. The tempering valve may include a failure protection valve which shuts off all flow in case of a cold water supply failure.

  • Patent number: 5116891
Abstract: Flame-resistant polymeric compositions, preferably olefinic polymers and/or copolymers, containing 8 to 45% by weight of a flameproofing system. This flameproofing system comprises at least one phosphorus component and a monomeric triazinylpiperazine. The phosphours component is a free-flowing, pulverulent, sparingly water-soluble ammonium polyphosphate, while the triazinylpiperazine used is a pulverulent bistriazinylpiperazine.

  • Patent number: 4957950
Abstract: Flame-retardant polymer compositions contain a flame-retardant system consisting of a phosphorus/nitrogen-component, aluminum hydroxide, and a least one synergetically active component selected from the group consisting of organic nitrogen compounds, polyalcohols or derivatives thereof, the phosphorus/nitrogen-component being ammonium polyphosphate, if desired.
