  • Patent number: 11168590
Abstract: A sleeve for a cam phaser, wherein the sleeve is arranged between a central valve and a rotor of the cam phaser, wherein the rotor is rotatable relative to a stator of the cam phaser about a rotation axis of the rotor, wherein a vane of the rotor is arranged positionable between two bars of the stator, wherein the vane divides an intermediary space that is formed between the two bars into a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber, wherein the rotor is movable by pressures that are provided in the first pressure chamber and in the second pressure chamber, wherein the central valve is configured to provide pressure loading and pressure relief of the first pressure chamber and the second pressure chamber.

  • Patent number: 10107411
Abstract: A hydraulic valve including a valve bushing; a valve piston that is axially moveable in the valve bushing along a longitudinal axis of the valve bushing; a supply connection configured to feed a hydraulic fluid; at least one operating connection; and at least one tank drain configured to drain the hydraulic fluid, wherein the valve piston is movable by an electromagnetic actuator of the hydraulic valve and the valve bushing forms a hydraulic portion and the actuator forms a magnetic portion of the hydraulic valve, characterized in that a seal element is arranged in the valve bushing which seal element provides a spatial separation of the magnet portion and the hydraulic portion, and wherein the seal element is penetrated by an end of the valve piston configured as a piston plunger.

  • Patent number: 8640662
Abstract: A valve timing control apparatus for a combustion engine according to which a rotational member, such as a sprocket, is driven by said combustion engine, a rotor is mechanically coupled with a camshaft for controlling opening and closing of cylinder valves of said combustion engine, a first configuration is provided in which the rotor is locked to the rotational member; and a second configuration is provided in which the rotor is unlocked from said rotational member. In another aspect an operating method of said valve timing control apparatus for adjusting a valve timing of a combustion engine is provided. The apparatus controls a relative rotation between a camshaft and an output shaft, which can either be prevented or permitted.
