The head restraint also includes a material configured to generate a variable resistance in response to receiving a user input. The material located underneath the exterior surface of the head restraint where the one or more touch zones are located. The head restraint also includes one or more actuation mechanisms configured to move the head restraint relative to the vehicle seat.
