  • Patent number: 11526533
Abstract: A first client device associated with a first account of a content management system can receive a first or latest version of a synchronized content item. The first client device can determine differences or the “diff” between the first version and a second or next-to-latest version of the content item and upload the first version and the diff to the content management system. Upon receiving the first version and the diff, the content management system can store the first version and the diff and download them to the second client device. The second client device can generate a notification when the download finishes and present the notification with an interface element for requesting presentation of the diff. When the second client device detects a selection of the interface element, the second client device can present the diff.

  • Publication number: 20220374408
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods that provide users with efficient and effective user experiences when browsing, selecting, or inspecting content items. More specifically, systems and methods described herein provide users the ability to easily and effectively select multiple content items via a single touch gesture (e.g., swipe gesture). Additionally, systems and methods disclosed herein can allow users to select various content items in a selection interface, preview a content item, and return to the selection interface with the previous selections remaining intact. Still further, systems and methods described herein allow users to transition between a content graphical user interface and a selection interface based on touch gestures with content items. Embodiments of the present invention further provide improved navigability by collapsing views of content items.

  • Publication number: 20220375026
Abstract: A method for minimizing latency of moving objects in an augmented reality (AR) display device is described. In one aspect, the method includes determining an initial pose of a visual tracking device, identifying an initial location of an object in an image that is generated by an optical sensor of the visual tracking device, the image corresponding to the initial pose of the visual tracking device. rendering virtual content based on the initial pose and the initial location of the object, retrieving an updated pose of the visual tracking device, tracking an updated location of the object in an updated image that corresponds to the updated pose, and applying a time warp transformation to the rendered virtual content based on the updated pose and the updated location of the object to generate transformed virtual content.

  • Publication number: 20220377209
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for varied depth determination using stereo vision and phase detection auto focus (PDAF). Computer stereo vision (stereo vision) is used to extract three-dimensional information from digital images. To utilize stereo vision, two optical sensors are displaced horizontally from one another and used to capture images depicting two differing views of a real-world environment from two different vantage points. The relative depth of the objects captured in the images is determined using triangulation by comparing the relative positions of the objects in the two images. For example, the relative positions of matching objects (e.g., features) identified in the captured images are used along with the known orientation of the optical sensors (e.g., distance between the optical sensors, vantage points the optical sensors) to estimate the depth of the objects.

  • Publication number: 20220351699
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media. for reducing latency in augmented reality displays. A display controller receives, from a GPU, a stream of image pixels of a frame of virtual content to be presented on a display of a display device. The stream of image pixels is received via a high-speed bulk interface that transfers data at least as fast as can be consumed by the display. As the stream of image pixel is received, the display controller converts each respective image pixel from a data format used to transmit the stream of image pixels via the high-speed bulk interface to a data format that is compatible for display by the display. Each converted image pixel is stored in a pixel cell of the display, after which the frame is presented on the display.

  • Patent number: 11424945
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for avoiding conflicting user actions while the users synchronously participate in collaborative video review based on joint state data for a video collaboration session. User actions may conflict, e.g., when a user submits a video playback instruction to change the current frame of the session while another user is performing a frame-specific action on the current frame. The video collaboration service freezes the current frame in joint state data based on detecting that a frame-specific action is being performed or is likely imminent. Detecting a freeze condition may be implicit or explicit. In order to unfreeze the current frame of the joint state data, no active freeze conditions may be in effect. Further, the freeze condition may be lifted implicitly or explicitly. A visual video freeze indication may be displayed by one or more client applications participating in the session while a freeze condition is active.

Abstract: A method for configuring a digital light projector (DLP) of an augmented reality (AR) display device is described. A light source component of the DLP projector is configured to generate a single red-green-blue color sequence repetition per image frame. The AR display device identifies a color sequence of the light source component of the DLP projector and tracks a motion of the AR display device. The AR display device adjusts an operation of the DLP projector based on the single red-green-blue color sequence repetition, the color sequence of the light source component of the DLP projector, and the motion of the AR display device.

  • Patent number: 11329483
Abstract: A system for feeding electric power to a first consumer (1) comprises an input filter (6) with an input configured to be connected to a DC energy source and a DC intermediate link (3) connected to an output (14) of the input filter. A converter (12) is with an input connected to the DC intermediate link and has an output to be connected to said first consumer (1). The unit (16) controls the converter to obtain feeding of electric power requested by the first consumer independently of variations of the voltage on the DC link (3). An assembly is configured to act stabilizing on that voltage by controlling the converter to add a first power component to the power to be fed to the consumer. A second consumer (19) is controlled to consume a second power component to either assist the control of the converter to obtain the stabilization or alone take care thereof.
