  • Patent number: 9863740
Abstract: A sight mechanism for firearms such as pistols, rifles and the like. The sight mechanism includes a sight member that has a rear sight that is vertically adjusted. The sight member can be mounted on a vertically moveable member that has a fixing member that sets the vertical position of the sight member. The vertically moveable member may, without limitation, be a pivoting member. The sight mechanism includes magnets that bias the vertical member against the fixing member so that the magnets maintain the sight at the vertical position defined by the fixing member.

  • Patent number: 9694557
Abstract: A plastic component, with fiber reinforcement, for use in a motor vehicle. The plastic component comprises a number of fiber layers connected to one another by injection of plastic and by a pressing force. The plastic component comprises at least two structural parts which overlap one another a pressing direction such that the die comprises at least one upper die portion formed with a pressing unit for applying a pressing force in the pressing direction, and at least one lower die portion which cooperates with the upper die portion to form a cavity in which the plastic component is formed. A die insert is fitted in the die and can move by and with the upper die portion and is designed to transmit the pressing force to the at least one structural part of the plastic component which is overlapped by the other structural part of the plastic component in the pressing direction.

  • Patent number: 9555683
Abstract: A four-point link for the suspension of a rigid axle which has four bearing seats. Two bearing seats can be articulated on the axle and two can be articulated on the vehicle frame. The link has a single-piece link body which is inscribed by the trapezoid formed by the bearing seats. The link body is formed of a fiber-composite arrangement that comprises at least one longitudinal fiber arrangement. The longitudinal fiber arrangement encases the bearing seat, at least along half circumference thereof and extends along at least a portion of the link body in order to optimize loading, reduce mass and increase its application. Torsional compliance makes it possible to use relatively small and/or hard rubber bearings for articulating the four-point link or the vehicle axle.

  • Patent number: 9517797
Abstract: A support structure (1), in particular an axle support for a motor vehicle, which is made as a single-shell or multi-shell frame element (7) of fiber-reinforced plastic. The frame element (7) has at least one elastic connection point (9, 9?, 9?, 9??) for connection to an aggregate such that the at least one elastic connection point (9, 9?, 9?, 9??) is formed integrally with the frame element (7). Additionally, a method for producing such a support structure (1) is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9506726
Abstract: A firearm having a mounting surface which can include a recess formed on a slide of a pistol. The recess includes mounting posts and a plurality of sights include matching openings and fasteners so that mounting platforms of the plurality of sights can be mounted in the recess in a fixed orientation. The sights of the plurality of sights are movable relative to the platform but the platform is fixed with respect to the recess so that the platform is fixed with respect to the mounting surface. The recess is sized such that optical sights are aligned with original fixed sights.

  • Publication number: 20160053821
Abstract: A coupling with a first coupling half (202) and a second coupling half (102, 302, 402). The first coupling half (202) is designed to be rotationally fixedly connected with a first shaft. The second coupling half (102, 302, 402) is designed to be rotationally fixedly connected with a second shaft. The first coupling half (202) can displace a displaceable portion (106, 306, 406) when the first coupling half (202) and the second coupling half (102, 302, 402) are moved toward one another. The displaceable portion (106, 306, 406) of the second coupling half (102, 302, 402) is designed to engage with the second coupling half (202) in a form fit, rotationally fixed connection when the first coupling half (202) and the second coupling half (102, 302, 402) are moved toward one another. The displaceable portion (106, 306, 406) can be displaced primarily in the radial direction.
