Abstract: A device and related method for reducing coffee beans into powder includes a primary tank or hopper for containing the coffee beans, a grinding chamber, one or more unloading ducts for unloading coffee powder from the grinding chamber, a ground coffee collecting zone, and a system for the manual or automated removal of coffee powder residues and of accumulations thickened inside the grinding chamber, on the surfaces of the members involved in the pulverization, and on channels of the coffee into the unloading ducts using gas introduced into the grinding chamber.
