  • Publication number: 20090044700
Abstract: The invention relates to chemistry, in particular to pharmaceutical engineering, and more specifically to a method for degassing, in particular, to deoxygenating liquid, in particular aqueous media consisting in simultaneously in agitating an inert gas, in exposing a solution to a deep vacuum and to a ultrasound action and in heating it with a temperature ranging from 35 to 60° C. The inventive method makes it possible to obtain an aqueous medium whose oxygen content ranges from 4 to 0.4 mg/l for producing stable aqueous solutions of food or pharmaceutical products.

  • Patent number: 6992218
Abstract: A method for obtaining aqueous formulations with easily oxidizable active principles, notably phenols, stable over a prolonged period, comprising subjecting them to extreme deoxygenation by bubbling with an inert gas and/or placing wider vaccum, protecting them against possible resorption of oxygen by keeping them under an inert gas atmosphere, by filling, under inert gas, into bottles previously cleared of air by insufflation with inert gas, then subjecting them, while stoppering, to low pressure as obtained in the bottle, of 65,000 Pa maximum, to obtain aqueous solutions having a residual oxygen concentration in the solution below 2 ppm, and preferably of the order of 1 ppm and even 0.5 ppm useful as injectable preparations having an oxygen concentration in the solution below 2 ppm.

  • Publication number: 20040054012
Abstract: A water cooled exhaust tube, especially for boats, comprises an outer housing (3) formed as a tube, an inner tube (1) extending coaxially in the housing, at a radial distance from the latter, and a cam (7), extending in a screw line shaped manner in the longitudinal direction of the housing, spanning the distance between the housing (3) and the inner tube (1) and forming a channel (11), extending in a screw line shaped manner between the housing (3) and the inner tube (1). The inner tube (1) conducts the exhausts gases while the channel (11) conducts cooling water separately from the exhaust gases. The exhaust tube is flexible since all parts are made in rubber. In the inner tube (1) silencing means (17) can be arranged to from a silencer. The inner tube (1) is adapted to be replaceable int he outer housing (3) and can be a rubber hose.

  • Patent number: 6028222
Abstract: Novel stable paracetamol compositions for use in therapeutic chemistry and specifically galenic pharmacy are disclosed. The compositions contain a solution of paracetamol in an aqueous solvent combined with a buffer having a pH of 4 to 8, and a free radical capturing agent. A water-insoluble inert gas is carefully bubbled through the aqueous solvent to remove oxygen from the medium. Said compositions may also be combined with a centrally or peripherally acting analgesic agent, and are provided as injectable compositions for relieving pain.

  • Patent number: 5175172
Abstract: There are provided pharmaceutical compositions and methods of utilizing them for the elevation of T.sub.4 lymphocytes levels in patients having subnormal levels thereof reducing the level of opportunistic infections in AIDS patients as well as, usually, P.sub.24 levels and also for inhibiting the activity of the HIV virus in patients which are HIV seropositive but may not exhibit AIDS symptoms, which comprise, as active constituent an effective amount of a compound selected from the group consisting of 9-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroacridine and the acid addition salts thereof with pharmaceutically acceptable acids. There are also provided, for the same purpose chemical derivatives of 9-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroacridine which are capable of degradation by human stomach acids, other gastric fluids or intestinal enzymes to 9-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroacridine and have the formula 9-N(Q)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroacridine, wherein Q is <(A.B) where A and B are the same or different and are biologically labile groups.
