  • Patent number: 11933070
Abstract: A handle assembly for a door or window comprises a handle and a second element, installable on opposite sides of the door or window, and a pin element rotatable around a pin rotation axis and insertable into the handle or in the second element at variable depths. The handle assembly further comprises a friction reducing group positioned coaxially to the pin element and positionable between the handle and the door or window in the axial direction of the pin rotation axis. Clamping devices constrain the handle and/or the second element on the pin element at adjustable distances along the axial direction according to the thickness of the door or window, so that when the handle assembly is installed on the door or window, an axial clamping pressure of the handle and of the second element is maintained on the respective side of the door or window. An installation method of the handle assembly on the door or window is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240087444
Abstract: A predictive system and method for the safety of subjects in a workplace. The system may include wearable devices, each being configured to detect and transmit an identification code and physical magnitudes representative of vital values, IoT sensors, positioned within the work environment to be monitored and configured to transmit an identification code and first parameters characteristic of the work environment, a knowledge base including occupational accident-type models that each include a set of data which contribute to a calculation of risk factors, and a computer unit configured to process occupational risk data that includes an input module configured to receive said identification code and said physical magnitudes and said identification code and first parameters characteristic of the work environment. The system further includes a risk calculation module configured to determine an accident risk profile of a subject based on an Artificial Intelligence model.

  • Patent number: 7530965
Abstract: Protective device for a needle, more particularly for a catheter introducing needle or so-called cannula needle, whereby this protective device comprises protective means which slidably cooperate with the needle, characterized in that said protective means comprise a combination of at least, on one hand, safety means having at least one part which, upon retraction of the needle through the protective means, is placed in front of the needle point and prevents the re-use of the needle, and, on the other hand, blocking means which cooperate with the safety means and which, when the protective device passes from a non-operative state into an operative state, release said safety means from a blocked position into an unblocked position.

  • Patent number: 6227434
Abstract: A method for reworking a Ball Grid Array electronic module by removing the solder balls from the substrate surface after one or more of the connections have been detected to be damaged. The module is immersed in a water soluble oil bath and heated to the melting point. Then a rotating brush, with the rotating axis perpendicular to the substrate plane, removes the solder balls and the solder material particles while the module is still immersed in the fluid.
