  • Publication number: 20230137521
Abstract: A patient monitoring system for use in either a patch mode or a holster mode for monitoring physiological data of a patient includes a multi-mode sensor configured to continuously and/or intermittently acquire the physiological data from the patient in the least two modes and to transmit the acquired physiological data to a remote location and/or record the acquired physiological data in an internal memory, the physiological data including one or more of patient electrocardiogram (ECG) data, patient posture, patient movement, radio-frequency (RF) based physiological data, body temperature, and/or patient respiration; an attachment mechanism disposed on the multi-mode sensor, the attachment mechanism configured to removably connect the multi-mode sensor to either a holster and associated monitoring cables worn by the patient or a patch worn by the patient; at least one electrical contact disposed on the multi-mode sensor, the at least one electrical contact configured to engage a counterpart electrical contact

  • Patent number: 10561464
Abstract: A laser treatment apparatus includes a primary handset and an auxiliary handset; the primary handset is connectable to the auxiliary handset; the primary handset has a laser source with a primary heat exchanger, and a main cooling circuit to provide cooling fluid to the primary heat exchanger to cool the laser source; the cooling circuit has a circuit connection for engagement with the auxiliary handset. The circuit connection comprises one or more fluid connectors for connection to an auxiliary cooling circuit within the auxiliary handset and the cooling circuit within the auxiliary handset includes a secondary heat exchanger. An electro-mechanical mechanism within the primary handset switches from a first position so that cooling fluid flows in the main cooling circuit within the primary handset when no auxiliary handset is attached and in a second position diverts flow of the cooling fluid to the heat exchanger in the auxiliary handset when the auxiliary handset is connected to the primary handset.

  • Publication number: 20200001108
Abstract: An adapter tip for a light emitting device which has an open cavity with a set sized opening. The adapter fits with the opening and reduces the size of the opening from the set size to a size less than the set size to concentrate light emanating from the light emitting device. Further, the open cavity of the light emitting device includes a cooled transparent member which contacts and cools skin coming into contact with the cooled transparent member when the skin is drawn into the cavity under vacuum.

  • Publication number: 20190022405
Abstract: A cosmetic method for treating a human body to reduce hyperhidrosis includes applying laser light energy to one or more portions of the human body in which the laser light energy is one or more of: about 450 nm, about 930 nm, about 970 nm and about 1060 nm. An apparatus for accomplishing this method includes a source of laser light energy and a controller for controlling the laser light source to apply laser light energy to target and disrupt sweat glands in the human body.
