Patent number: 7614107Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes an elongated housing bounding a chamber with a motor disposed therein. A drive shaft is at least partially disposed within the chamber of the housing, the drive shaft being coupled with the motor such that during selective operation of the motor the drive shaft is rotated continuously. A head assembly includes an elongated head housing having a head drive shaft and a brush head mounted thereon. The head assembly is adapted to be selectively coupled with the body assembly so that the body drive shaft is coupled with the head drive shaft.Type: GrantFiled: April 21, 2008Date of Patent: November 10, 2009Assignee: SonicScrubbers, LLCInventors: Aaron D. Patent number: 7360269Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes an elongated housing bounding a chamber with a motor disposed therein. A drive shaft is at least partially disposed within the chamber of the housing, the drive shaft being coupled with the motor such that during selective operation of the motor the drive shaft is rotated continuously. A brush head has a plurality of bristles mounted thereon. A hub is disposed on the brush head and has an elongated channel bounded by a pair of spaced apart engagement surfaces. A spherical head is disposed within the channel so as to selectively bias against the engagement surfaces, the spherical head being eccentrically disposed on the drive shaft such that the spherical head reciprocally rotates the brush head when the drive shaft is continuously rotated.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2004Date of Patent: April 22, 2008Assignee: SonicScrubbers, LLCInventors: Aaron D. Patent number: 6099329Abstract: A retractable coaxial jack (14) includes a base (52) slidably positioned within a PC card (12) or other electrical apparatus. Projecting from the front face (89) of the base (52) is a tubular insulator (90) that encircles a conductive socket (92). The socket (92) bounds an opening (94) for receiving a contact pin (20). Also projecting from the front face (89) of the base (52) on opposing sides of the tubular insulator (90) is a conductive, outwardly extending first arm (95) and a conductive, outwardly extending second arm (96). The separate outwardly extending arms (95, 96) are desirably arranged to create a thinner coaxial jack (14) than conventional types of coaxial jacks to enable the jack to be retracted into the PC card (12). Preferably each of the retention arms (95, 96) has a curved inside face (98), an opposing curved outside face (100) and a knob (102) projecting from the outside face. The outwardly extending arms (95, 96) are desirably spaced from the tubular insulator (90) to form a gap (104).Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1998Date of Patent: August 8, 2000Assignee: 3Com CorporationInventors: Darrell E. Goff, Stephen C. Aldous

Patent number: 6033240Abstract: A media jack includes a plate retractably positioned within an opening on a PC card or other electrical apparatus. The plate includes an elongated thin body portion having an enlarged head portion formed at the end thereof. Extending through the body portion is an aperture having a plurality of contact wires projecting therein. The aperture is configured to receive an RJ type connector so that the connector is in electrical communication the contact wires. The enlarged head portion has a front face and an opposing back face which is position below the body portion. Formed on the front face is a socket having electrical contacts received therein. The socket is configured to electrically couple with a PC card type connector. Formed on the back face of the head portion is a slot having a plurality of discrete female contacts. Each of the female contacts are in electrical communication with the contacts in the front socket by electrical lines.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1998Date of Patent: March 7, 2000Assignee: 3Com CorporationInventor: Darrell E.
