    Abstract: A securement device for securing an item in position. A member has an elongate slot along its length and has configured openings at intervals along the length of the slot. Cords are stored on or in the member. A neck portion of the head end of the cord is movable along the slot and into any one of the configured openings. A desired length of cord is withdrawn through the configured opening and attached to an item to secure an item in position.

The slots are provided at intervals along the length and the height of the end and side walls to enable positioning a tie down device strategic to the cargo to be secured.
