  • Publication number: 20200371985
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically switching hardware device settings in a video conferencing system including monitoring for connectivity of an external hardware device, prompting a user to accept the use of the connected external hardware device, when the prompt is accepted by the user, storing information about a default hardware device, and replacing the default hardware device with the connected external hardware device.

  • Publication number: 20200374471
Abstract: A pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera providing integrated video mixing capabilities for the PTZ camera video. A PTZ camera includes a sensor control engine to operate at least one sensor to generate unencoded data including unencoded video data, a mixing engine to receive the unencoded video data and generate a composite output including the unencoded video data, a digital graphic, and at least one transition effect, and an input/output engine to transmit the composite output from the PTZ camera. Local video preset transition effects can also be integrated into the video mixing capabilities when a PTZ camera is moved between two locations.

  • Patent number: 9667913
Abstract: A video conferencing/presentation system includes a PC docking station and a room media unit. The dock includes speakerphone and tactile user interface. The wall-mounted RMU, including a wide field camera and speaker(s), is coupled to a monitor. The dock communicates with the RMU. A speakerphone mic captures room audio. During conferencing, room audio and camera video are sent to a docked PC; the PC communicates with remote nodes using video chat software, sending room A/V; remote A/V is received from the PC by the dock, and transmitted for RMU output. During presentation, room audio, and/or PC media software presentation, may be output through the RMU, or to the PC for remote transmission. The dock provides the PC network access. Dock/RMU may each be equipped with a bidirectional transceiver, which uses prioritized opportunistic sequencing to assemble/disassemble a combined media/control packet stream over a cable, and transfer power from dock to RMU.

  • Publication number: 20100271287
Abstract: The claimed systems relate generally to a cart having repositionable displays, and more particularly to a mobile cart having a frame on which is affixed two or more fixtures having a display mount, the fixtures providing for the movement of displays affixed thereto in a position for viewing, and another position for cart movement, such as movement between rooms through a doorway or an elevator. Also disclosed are particular articulating arms for such fixtures, mounted to one or more posts, some having one or more pivotable arms allowing for repositioning of displays relative to a cart. Detailed information on various example embodiments of the inventions are provided in the Detailed Description below, and the inventions are defined by the appended claims.
