    Abstract: Liquid dispensing apparatus and methods for dispensing pressurized liquid including the use of a pressure relief and bypass valve. The liquid dispensing apparatus may include a pump operatively connected to a liquid reservoir and one or more liquid dispensers. A pressure relief and bypass valve is generally connected between an outlet of the pump and the liquid dispenser for providing both a pressure relief function and a bypass cleaning or flushing function. The bypass function helps prevent contaminants from lodging or accumulating within the valve.
