  • Publication number: 20180272505
Abstract: A ratchet gear system with a drive gear. The drive gear can be disposed around a hub extending from within the cavity of the head to avoid the need to machine an indent into the head itself. The drive gear can mate with the hub via a drive gear indent. The drive gear and hub can then accept the load created when a user applies torque with the tool.

  • Patent number: 9189926
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a gaming system and method providing a slot game in which, for each play of the slot game, different sets of symbols are randomly associated with different symbol display areas and used to determine an outcome for that play of the slot game. Generally, for each play of the slot game, the gaming system does so by: (a) randomly associating each of a plurality of different sets of symbols with a different one of a plurality of different symbol display areas; (b) for each of the sets of symbols, randomly selecting one of the symbols of that set to determine an outcome for that play of the slot game; and (c) displaying the randomly selected symbols at the associated symbol display areas (i.e., displaying the determined outcome).

  • Publication number: 20090056141
Abstract: According to one aspect of the present invention, a wet shaving system includes two integrated components, namely a shaving device (e.g., a wet shave razor) and a base. The shaving device includes a handle and razor cartridge. During use, the shaving device is separated from the base and used by a user to shave. Between uses, the shaving device is stored on the base. The base is operable to detect when a user has removed the handle for the purpose of shaving, count the number of shaves the razor cartridge has been used by the user, and notify the user once a given number of shaves have been completed in order to, for example, prompt the user to consider replacing the replaceable shaving cartridge on the current handle or to begin using a new razor and handle.

  • Publication number: 20080052912
Abstract: In a wet shave razor integrated with a base unit, the razor has a handle, at least one razor cartridge coupled to the handle, a control module and a sensor integrated into the handle, a sensor for detecting movement of the handle, and memory for storing data related to the movement of the handle. The base unit has a display for indicating data pertaining to cartridge use, a controller in communication with the display, and a mechanism for transferring data from the memory to the controller when the razor is received by the base unit. A method of tracking the use of shaving devices includes receiving an input signal indicative of a movement of the shaving device, maintaining a count of a number of the input signals, incrementing the count in response to additional received input signals, and displaying a value in response to the counted number of input signals.

  • Patent number: 5765230
Abstract: A multifunction head apparel is disclosed and configurable into a variety of protective forms to provide varying degrees of protection of a user's head and face from the surrounding environment. The accessory is characterized as having a hood portion which defines a face opening sufficient in size so as to permit a head to extend there through, and a neck portion wherein the neck portion has a proximal portion adjacent to the hood portion and a distal portion terminating at a neck opening. The length of the neck portion is sufficient to permit full coverage of the neck when the neck opening is involuted to terminate at or near the mid point of the face opening, thereby forming a dual layer of material surrounding the neck. In this manner, a single accessory can be configured to provide a hood with or without a face mask; a neck tube, with or without a face mask; and a hat.
