  • Publication number: 20060019549
Abstract: A modular jack assembly having a housing and a plug interface contact (PIC) sled subassembly insertable into the housing. The PIC sled subassembly provides an electrical and mechanical interface between PICs and a male-type plug receivable in an opening in the housing. The PIC sled subassembly is defined in part by multiple slots formed in the PIC sled subassembly that receive the PICs. The design of the PICs compensates for independent near-end cross-talk vectors and far-end cross-talk vectors to obtain a desired level of electrical characteristics.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 24, 2005
    Publication date: January 26, 2006
Inventors: Andrew Ciezak, David Dylkiewicz, Michael Doorhy
  • Publication number: 20050037672
Abstract: The invention is a modular cable termination plug having a conductor divider having an entrant barb and a plurality of divider channels, a load bar having a plurality of through holes and a plurality of slots, and a plurality of contact terminals. Additionally, the invention may include a housing, a strain relief collar and a strain relief boot.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 23, 2004
    Publication date: February 17, 2005
    Applicant: Panduit Corporation
