  • Patent number: 10575604
Abstract: A transformable structure reconfigurable between in-line and simulative configurations. Head beading, an anterior engaging bead, anterior appendage beading, a central bead, posterior appendage beading, a posterior engaging bead, and terminal beading are connected in series. The central bead has anterior and posterior cavities, and receivable portions of the engaging beads are respectively received in the cavities when the structure is in the simulative configuration. An elastic core passes through the beading, and the transformable structure can be reconfigured between in-line and simulative configurations by a relative twisting and untwisting of the components. The anterior and posterior engaging beads can be spherical, and the anterior and posterior cavities can be hemispherical.

  • Publication number: 20120298604
Abstract: A storage rack assembly includes two racks mounted on the base for movement relative to the base between a stored position and an intermediate position and an open position. Each rack has storage spaces that are hidden when the rack is in the stored position and that are accessible when the rack is in the open position. The racks are adjacent to and parallel to each other when in the stored position. Either rack can be pulled out from the stored position to the intermediate position and then pivoted to the open position, to enable access to its storage spaces, while the other remains in the stored position. In one embodiment, the racks are optimized to store spice containers in a kitchen cabinet; in another, to store single serving coffee containers.

  • Patent number: 6267639
Abstract: A candy container or dispenser having a sound generating device and having an oscillating member protruding from an aperture is disclosed. The candy dispenser comprises a housing adapted for attachment to a candy container, with the housing defining an internal cavity and including an aperture. A member is pivotally mounted to the housing and protrudes from the aperture. A gear mechanism is disposed within the housing cavity and includes a rotatable wheel having an irregular peripheral surface. The gear mechanism is operatively connected to the member and includes an actuating trigger. A reed is mounted within the cavity and has an end contacting the peripheral surface, so that upon actuation of the trigger the gear mechanism imparts rotational movement to the wheel thereby causing the reed to produce a sound in response to contact with the wheel peripheral surface. At the same time, the member oscillates about its pivot point.

  • Patent number: 5435555
Abstract: A game includes a paddle having a first end, a second end positioned vertically higher than the first end, an axis defined from the first end to the second end, a path located on an upper surface of the paddle, and a target, such as a hole, located in the path near the second end of the paddle. The game also includes a movable element, such as a marble, sized to fit within the path and a base rotatably supporting the paddle to permit rotation of the paddle relative to the axis so that rotation of the paddle causes the marble to move along the path from the first end of the paddle to the target. Typically, the game also includes a second paddle rotatably supported by the base and having similar characteristics.
