  • Patent number: 11916635
Abstract: Technologies for attestation techniques, systems, and methods for determining an individual's movement are provided. The individual's movement is determined by passive indoor positioning technology using channel state information (CSI). A first set of data associated with an impulse or frequency response determined using channel state information (CSI) may be received from a Wireless access point located in proximity to a monitored space. A second set of data may also be received from an Internet of Things (IoT) device located in proximity to the monitored space. The first set of data may be compared to the second set of data. A profile database may be updated to replace the first set of data with the second set of data when the first and second sets of data are different.

  • Patent number: 11913970
Abstract: A wireless motion detection system is provided which uses a sharp band-stop and low-pass filters to reject unwanted low and high frequency components of a signal in the CSI. A gap in the frequency domain is caused by taking the absolute value of the signal when using the absolute value of channel matrix H? for motion detection. A sharp band-stop (notch) filter is used to reject any unwanted signals that have significant components in this gap. A low-pass filter is used to reject all unwanted signal after the motion highest frequency.

  • Publication number: 20240062861
Abstract: Technologies for attestation techniques, systems, and methods are provided for determining patient movement and conditions. The patient's movement may be determined by passive indoor positioning technology using channel state information (CSI). Activity data from an activity database may be retrieved from a Wi-Fi access point located in proximity to a monitored space and analyzed to determine an activity trend of a patient in the monitored space. An electronic medical records database may be polled for one or more health events each associated with a set of health parameters. The activity data may be compared to the associated parameter sets of the health events to identify any matches. A notification may be sent to a designated device (e.g., of a caregiver) based on a match between the activity data or trends thereof with the parameter set of a health event.

  • Publication number: 20240026547
Abstract: Induction heating facilitated coating systems and processes for pipes overcome corrosion and erosion of the pipes at extreme temperatures and pressures in applications including oil and gas downhole tubulars and pipelines as well as processing facilities. Being based on vitreous fused inorganic compounds, the present invention achieves very high corrosion resistance at remarkably modest cost. Attractive economics and immunity to chlorides and moisture permeation at extreme concentrations and temperatures also make it well suited to desalination plants and potable water piping applications. Due to its extreme temperature resistance, it also is very well suited for geothermal wells. Additionally, due to its characteristic smooth durable surface, the present invention is ideally suited for applications involving the opposite of corrosion, namely scaling problems, such as fouling in sewage systems and scale buildup in heavy oil wells.

  • Patent number: 11870428
Abstract: A method of controlling current through a transistor is provided. A voltage and current through the transistor are measured. A safe operating current for the voltage is determined. For each of a first sequence of current pulses, a voltage of a voltage pulse applied to a control node of the transistor using a feedback controller is adjusted until the current measured through the transistor is not greater than a first function of the safe operating current. For each of a second sequence of current pulses after the first sequence of current pulses, the voltage of the voltage pulse applied to the control node of the transistor using the feedback controller is adjusted until the current measured through the transistor is not greater than a second function of the safe operating current.

  • Patent number: 11864061
Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking activities of daily living (ADL) of a user are provided. The method monitors data from one or more internet of things (IoT) devices corresponding to one or more ADLs. The method further monitors data from an activity identification module. The data received is related to an ADL and includes one or more steps specific to the ADL. The data related to the ADL is stored in an activity logging database located in a memory and compared to an activity best practices (BP) database. A score that represents a compliance level is calculated based on the compared data. A response that corresponds the compliance level from a response database is executed.

  • Patent number: 11863825
Abstract: A method of utilizing Wi-Fi based passive motion detection to deliver targeted advertising through a smart TV is provided. The system uses an agent in connection with the wireless access point that the Smart TV uses to access the internet to make motion determinations. The CSI data of the access point is analyzed to identify if a user is present, if the user is stationary, the previous location of the user, and the activity the user is currently engaged in. An advertisement may be selected based on a last visited location and activity. Such advertisements may further be delivered to more engaged viewers when the advertiser pays a higher rate.

  • Patent number: 11848673
Abstract: An integrated circuit for use in high-reliability electronic systems contains one or more digital majority voters with corresponding disagreement detectors connected to the same input signals producing a majority value output and an error signal that is active when not all input signals agree. Internal error signals from multiple majority voter/disagreement detectors as well as external error inputs may be combined using disjunctive error logic to produce an “error detected” output indication. Cold-sparing and hot-plugging are supported by providing cold-sparable electrostatic discharge protection circuits and power-on reset circuitry controlling cold-sparable output stages. Internal modular redundancy provides immunity to single-event transients as well as enhanced reliability.

  • Patent number: 11847084
Abstract: CMOS output stages, electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuits and input bus-keeper functions are provided that block dc and ac leakage paths within inactive powered-down integrated circuits used in redundant high-reliability system configurations employing cold-sparing to provide backup circuitry. These circuits and methods avoid both undesirable power consumption in a cold-spared backup unit and loading of connected active units when powered down, without compromising performance or functionality of the backup unit when in its active powered state. Inputs and outputs using an analog majority voting principle to implement in-circuit redundancy for on-chip fault tolerance are also provided, incorporating the low-leakage principles of the invention for low power dissipation when powered down. Such on-chip redundancy can harden an IC against various faults, such as single-event effects in high-radiation environments, while maintaining the other advantages in a cold-sparing system.

  • Patent number: 11828872
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and monitoring human breathing, respiration, and heart rate using statistics about the wireless channel between two or more connected devices. A user is monitored for identifying patterns in the user's behavior that may allow the system to alert a caregiver to deviations in the user behavior that may be indicative of a potential issue, such as depression. A presence may further detected in a sensing area through the detection of spectral components in the breathing frequency range of comprises user includes transforming phase difference between spatial streams and amplitude of the samples representing frequency response of the channel for any frequency value into frequency domain to perform frequency analysis. Statistical analysis may be performed on the frequency space provided by the transformation. Micro motions may also be detected by detecting presence in a sensing area through the detection of spectral components in the micro motion frequency range.

  • Patent number: 11798575
Abstract: Embodiments allow for an auto-mixer to gate microphones on and off based on speech detection, without losing or discarding the speech received during the speech recognition period. An example method includes receiving and storing an input audio signal. The method also includes determining, based on a first segment of the input audio signal, that the input audio signal comprises speech, and determining a delay between the input audio signal and a corresponding output audio signal provided to a speaker. The method also includes reducing the delay, wherein reducing the delay comprises removing one or more segments of the stored input audio signal to create a time-compressed audio signal and providing the time-compressed audio signal as the corresponding output audio signal. The method also includes determining that the delay is less than a threshold duration, and responsively providing the input audio signal as the corresponding output audio signal.
