  • Patent number: 11776199
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to systems and methods for generating multi-view interactive digital media representations in a virtual reality environment. According to particular embodiments, a plurality of images is fused into a first content model and a first context model, both of which include multi-view interactive digital media representations of objects. Next, a virtual reality environment is generated using the first content model and the first context model. The virtual reality environment includes a first layer and a second layer. The user can navigate through and within the virtual reality environment to switch between multiple viewpoints of the content model via corresponding physical movements. The first layer includes the first content model and the second layer includes a second content model and wherein selection of the first layer provides access to the second layer with the second content model.

  • Patent number: 11776229
Abstract: Provided are mechanisms and processes for inserting a visual element into a multi-view digital media representation (MVIDMR). In one example, a process includes analyzing an MVIDMR to determine if there is an appropriate location to insert a visual element. Once a location is found, the type of visual element appropriate for the location is determined, where the type of visual element includes either a three-dimensional object to be inserted in the MVIDMR or a two-dimensional image to be inserted as or projected onto a background or object in the MVIDMR. A visual element that is appropriate for the location is then retrieved and inserted into the MVIDMR, such that the visual element is integrated into the MVIDMR and navigable by a user.

  • Patent number: 11776351
Abstract: A novel food station comprises a plurality of cubbies, each cubby sized to enclose a food portion container, and an externally accessible collection hatch large enough for the food portion container to pass therethrough. A heating system can controllably heat the food portion container within a selected one of the cubbies, independently of an operation of the heating system the other cubbies. A cooling system can perform cooling within a subset of cubbies that includes at least the selected cubby. An internal transport system includes an end effector that temporarily couples to the portion container carrier of the selected cubby and controllably moves the food portion container carrier within the food station to the collection hatch. A control system includes a memory that controls the heating and controls the movement of the internal transport system.

  • Patent number: 11763212
Abstract: Systems and methods for fulfilling travel requests are described herein. A method for fulfilling travel requests may commence with receiving a travel request from a user and determining itinerary components based on the travel request. The method may further include generating an itinerary network based on the itinerary components. The itinerary network may be generated by creating a plurality of nodes and creating a plurality of edges within the itinerary network. Each of the plurality of nodes may represent information associated with the travel request. The plurality of edges may represent an order of the plurality of nodes in time based on dependencies between the plurality of nodes. The method may further include generating a travel itinerary responsive to the travel request. The method may continue with presenting the generated travel itinerary to the user on a user interface of a computing device associated with the user.

  • Publication number: 20230274602
Abstract: A novel food station comprises a plurality of cubbies, each sized to enclose a food portion container (FPC). Each cubby includes a cubby door and a door actuation mechanism that can open and close the cubby door independently from that of other cubbies. A heating system that can controllably heat the FPC within at least a first cubby, and a cooling system can perform cooling within at least a second cubby. The food station includes an internal transport system with an end effector that temporarily couples to the FPC, and controllably moves the FPC in a common transport space within the food station. The food station includes a control system that controls the heating, the cubby doors, and the movement of the internal transport system. Each cubby door, when closed, closes off the corresponding cubby interior space sufficiently to enable independent temperature control within the cubby interior space.

  • Patent number: 11719859
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to reflection suppressors. More specifically, some embodiments use elastomeric materials doped with optical absorbers for temporary suppression of Fresnel reflections for multiple substrates spanning wide spectral and angular bandwidth. The refractive index of the elastomer can be tuned to match a substrate and thereby minimize reflection. Some embodiments can use the addition of different absorptive dopants to allow for either broadband or wavelength-selective reflection suppression. As performance is limited only by index mismatch, both spectral and angular performance significantly exceed that of anti-reflection coatings. After use, these light traps may be removed and reused without damaging the substrate. These films have uses in spectroscopic ellipsometry, holography, and lithography.

  • Publication number: 20230161069
Abstract: An assembly and method for using weather sensors with enhanced modular capability is disclosed. The weather sensor assembly generally comprises a cap module, middle module, and a base module, where the cap module, middle module(s) and the base module are stacked adjacently to provide environmental sealing, weather sensing, and electrical connectivity to the weather sensor assembly. One or more ring mechanisms may be included that interlock the cap module, middle module(s), base module to form the weather sensor assembly into an integrated unit. Moreover, the ring mechanisms enable further modules to be added to the weather sensor assembly for additional capabilities. By doing so, each of the modules in the weather sensor assembly may be independent units that can be removed, reordered, swapped, and added for desired sensing modalities and environments.
