  • Publication number: 20230071358
Abstract: In various examples, natural language processing may be performed on text generated by a game to extract one or more in-game events from the game. The system (e.g., a client device and/or server) may receive the text in the form of one or more strings generated by a game application. The system may then extract one or more in-game events from the text using natural language processing. The game may include the text in a message it sends to the system (e.g., using an Application Programming Interface (API)) and/or in a game log entry or notification. The text may be generated based at least on the game determining one or more conditions are satisfied in the gameplay (e.g., victory, points scored, milestones, eliminations, item acquisition, etc.). The text may be mapped to event templates, which may then be used to extract parameters of events therefrom.

  • Patent number: 11572475
Abstract: Cyanines which selectively bind to G-quadruplex DNA complexes, particularly quadruplexes expressed in cancer cells, and methods of making and using thereof are described herein. The cyanine can be a symmetrical or unsymmetrical streptocyanine, hemicyanine, closed chain cyanine, or combinations thereof. The cyanine is preferably substituted with one or more groups that minimize or prevent aggregation of the cyanine and/or inhibit binding of the cyanine to duplex DNA. One or more of the cyanines can be formulated with one or more pharmaceutical excipients and/or carrier to prepare pharmaceutical compositions suitable for administration to a patient, particular a human patient. The compounds and compositions described herein can be used to treat diseases or disorders characterized by the expression of G-quadruplex DNA, such as cancer.

  • Patent number: 11549731
Abstract: A heat pump that includes a thermoelectric device(s) and a heat sink having a raised portion with a top surface for thermally coupling with a planar face of the thermoelectric device(s). The raised portion of the heat sink includes an outer periphery and a raised central region surrounded by a void region to provide more uniform thermal conductivity when clamped within an assembly. The raised central region is shaped in an any shape corresponding to a shape of uneven thermal conductivity due to clamping pressure applied to the heat sink. The void region can be substantially contiguous and entirely circumscribe the central raised region. The device can optionally include discrete supports formed of a less thermally-conductive material within the void region. The supports can be elastomeric, such as O-rings, and disposed within pockets defined within the void region.

  • Patent number: 11536361
Abstract: A modular gearbox assembly for a wind turbine having improved up-tower serviceability includes a low-speed gear stage module, a separate, intermediate-speed gear stage module adjacent to the low-speed gear stage module, and a separate high-speed gear stage module adjacent to the intermediate-speed gear stage module. The gearbox assembly also includes a first flange removably connecting the intermediate and high-speed gear stage modules and a second flange removably connecting the intermediate and low-speed gear stage modules. Thus, the low-speed gear stage module converts a low-speed, high torque input from a rotor shaft of the wind turbine to a high-speed, low torque output for a generator of the wind turbine via the intermediate and high-speed gear stage modules. In addition, the first and second flanges allow for easy disassembly of the gear stage modules such that the various stages can be easily repaired, replaced, and/or inspected.

  • Patent number: 11530072
Abstract: A box closure device having a first piece, a second piece, and a hub separating the first piece and second piece is provided. The first piece can have one or more engagement portions. The second piece can extend in both directions relative to the hub and is spaced from the first piece a selected amount allowing for box flaps to fit between the top piece and bottom piece. The second piece can have a blade to assist in positioning the closure device between the interior ends of two flaps. The second piece can also have a glide. In use, the user or a machine can engage the engagement portion(s) and twist the closure device so that the bottom piece is no longer aligned with a gap between the flaps thereby locking the flaps in a closed position. Lobes can be located on the ends of the second piece.
