Abstract: A system includes an analysis system at a first location and one or more remote sampling systems at a second location remote from the first location. A sampling system can be configured to receive a remote liquid sample. The system also includes a sample transfer line configured to transport gas from the second location to the first location. The sample transfer line is configured to selectively couple with a remote sampling for supplying a continuous liquid sample segment to the sample transfer line. The system can further include a sample receiving line at the first location. The sample receiving line is configured to selectively couple with the sample transfer line and the analysis system to receive the continuous liquid sample segment and supply the sample to an analysis device.

Abstract: A form with information card includes a document sheet with an interior border defining a first cavity, a carrier with an interior border defining a second cavity, and a planar card affixed to the carrier. The Gapper visually indicates a gap of one or more white space characters in the text or a gap of white space between paragraphs; the Gapper tracks either the Precaret or the Caret, whichever moved last. An enhanced Cursor switches to a less-obtrusive form while it is over text so as not to obscure the position of the Precaret while moving the mouse or the leading edge of the Selection while dragging the mouse. The Caret and Precaret change shape to indicate a special feature of a position within the text, such as the wrapping of one text row to the next.

Abstract: A method for separating particles in free-flow electrophoresis FFE includes conveying a separation medium using a dosage pump into a separation chamber; releasing the separation medium via outlets; applying an electrical field in the separation medium; coupling a particle to be separated with selectively defined charge labels for generating charge-modified particles which due to their selectively modified net surface charge display a different migratory behavior in FFE than non-charge-modified particles; adding a mixture of particles to be separated to the separation medium in the separation chamber by way of sample injection points; removing the particles separated using the separation medium by way of fractionation points; and collecting the fractions with the separated particles.
