Abstract: An airflow health predictive maintenance system and method for a motor drive includes a differential pressure sensor that senses an air pressure differential between a sensing location within an enclosed cabinet space of the motor drive and a reference location. The system includes an electronic control system configured to select a setpoint that indicates that airflow through the cabinet space has reached a value associated with a need for air filter maintenance. The control system is further configured to obtain air pressure differential measurements periodically from the differential pressure sensor and generate an actual trend comprising a series of values, wherein each of the values of the actual trend is derived from one or more of the air pressure differential measurements.

  • Publication number: 20230393006
Abstract: A system and method for measuring resistance over an array. The array includes at least three electrodes. Nodes at each intersection between input electrodes and output electrodes have variable resistance. A driving voltage is applied to a selected input electrode and an output current is received at a selected output electrode. A selected node is at the intersection of the two selected electrodes and includes an electrical component with a resistive property. Remaining electrodes are connected with a ground for isolating the selected node from the effects of changes in impedance of the remaining nodes. The driving voltage is converted to an output current by resistance at the selected node. The output current is converted to an output voltage with a current-to-voltage converter circuit for measuring the resistance of the electrical component. The nodes may be measured as the selected node in sequential or non-sequential patterns.

  • Publication number: 20230388708
Abstract: Systems and methods of driving plate loudspeakers with different parameters based on frequency region in a way similar to typical cone driver crossover networks are described. These systems and methods may be implemented using arrays of independently controlled drivers which allow a designer to emphasize or de-emphasize certain modes in certain frequency bands. Tuning the characteristics of the plate's motion can also affect the acoustical properties in a larger space rather than just at a single location. The systems and methods described herein can grant a designer a degree of control over the characteristics and performance of the plate.
