Abstract: The invention relates to a protective sleeve for beverage cans, of the type used as a hygienic protector that can be applied individually to each container, said sleeve including horizontal tearing means for accessing the pull ring of the can and vertical tearing means in the form of a pre-punched longitudinal strip. The sleeve is characterized in that it comprises a tubular body provided with a shaped base and, at the opposite end, an upper body, said sleeve being made from a strong, waterproof, printed material, having a similar configuration to the can and, optionally, including information in braille.

Abstract: The method consists of selecting individual fruit or vegetables without bruises or broken skin, cleaning them with an air jet, washing them in sterile water and drying them at a temperature between 18° C. and 25° C. such that, once the fruit or vegetable is clean, it is inserted into a food-grade composite bath to obtain a protective covering consisting of a thin layer of continuous tangible material that protects both the skin and the stem and crown of the fruit or vegetable, the fruit thus being protected until consumption, without refrigeration and without rotting since the oxygen necessary for bacteria growth is absent. The fruit or vegetable can be consumed after removing the food-grade composite by cutting away said covering.

Abstract: A protective cover for beverage cans, for assuring suitable hygiene conditions for drinking directly from the can, having a body, made with a suitably impermeable and sufficiently strong material, preferably transparent, with a cylindrical configuration open at its lower part and closed at its upper base, and with dimensions slightly larger than those of the can. The body covers the can at its upper part, where a ring pull is located, and laterally surrounds at least its upper half in a tight manner. The body has at least one tear means, such as a partially pre-die cut strip or any other similar known system, there optionally being at its end at least one flange which facilitates holding it.
