  • Patent number: 7733357
Abstract: One embodiment of a display system includes a control module that controls a position of an adjustable neutral density filter based on a calculated filter setting and that controls modulation of a set of frame data by an image modulator based on a calculated gain setting, and an image analysis module that calculates a gain setting and a filter setting for the set of frame data and forwards the calculated gain setting and the filter setting to said control module.

  • Patent number: 7728829
Abstract: One embodiment of a display system includes a control module that controls an adjustable aperture based on a calculated aperture setting and that applies a calculated gain setting to a set of frame data to define a modified set of frame data, an image analysis module that calculates a gain setting and an aperture setting for said set of frame data and forwards said calculated gain setting and said aperture setting to said control module, and a frame data buffer that stores said set of frame data during calculation by said image analysis module.

  • Patent number: 6679580
Abstract: A printer having a power bus for delivery of power to a print carriage is disclosed. The power from the power bus is picked up by a charge pickup system mounted on the print carriage. The charge pickup system can include a conductor contact and a spring to pressure the conductor to maintain contact with the power bus. The power bus can be implemented on the slide bar or on a separate bus bar. A ground return bus can be used to provide ground lines to the print carriage.

  • Publication number: 20030085945
Abstract: A printer with a print carriage with wireless communication system receives data and control signals either from another wireless communication system within the printer or even from outside the printer. The print carriage's wireless communication system can be directional system, for example, infra-red communications system. Alternatively, the print carriage's wireless communication system can be non-directional short-range wireless system such as the Bluetooth.
