  • Publication number: 20240124288
Abstract: A portable, self-contained beverage apparatus includes a container assembly having a known storage capacity for storing a consumable liquid, and a dispensing assembly disposed within the container assembly that dispenses variable, non-zero quantities of additives into the consumable liquid. The dispensing assembly includes multiple apertures structured and arranged to retain vessels containing the additives to be dispensed into the consumable liquid. The beverage apparatus also includes a level sensor disposed within the container assembly that determines a consumable liquid level of the consumable liquid stored in the container assembly. In certain embodiments, one or more positive displacement pumping mechanisms are configured to pump additive liquid from additive containers into a beverage chamber.

  • Patent number: 11892120
Abstract: An attachment system for a locking system mounted to a closure is provided. A baseplate is fastenable to a mounting surface of the closure, the baseplate including at least one circumferential cutout having an engagement feature, and a locking feature on a surface of the baseplate. A housing has at least one protrusion insertable into the at least one circumferential cutout and is rotatably engageable with the engagement feature to selectively prevent the housing from being withdrawn from the baseplate in a direction normal to the mounting surface. A locking device is disposed inside the housing and is accessible from outside the housing through a cutout defined in at least one of the housing and the baseplate, the locking device operable to rotatably lock and unlock the housing to the baseplate.

  • Patent number: 11736665
Abstract: A network-connected security device is communicatively coupled to an audio/video (A/V) recording and communication device having a camera and a speaker. A method receives video data captured by the camera, and performs an object recognition algorithm upon the received video data to identify an object therein. The method performs a table lookup using the identified object, into a data structure that associates objects with at least one description of a predefined voice message. The method selects a description of a predefined voice message associated with the identified object, and transmits the selected description's predefined voice message to the A/V recording and communication device for output through the speaker.

  • Publication number: 20230051669
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to systems and methods for use in the implementation and/or operation of quantum information processing (QIP) systems, and more particularly, to the computation of joint probability distributions with quantum computers. Improvements in the computation of joint probability distributions are described by designing quantum machine learning algorithms to model copulas. Moreover, any copula is shown to be naturally mapped to a multipartite maximally entangled state. A variational ansatz referred to herein as a “qopula” creates arbitrary correlations between variables while maintaining the copula structure starting from a set of Bell pairs for two variables, or Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states for multiple variables. Generative learning algorithms may be demonstrated on quantum computers, and more particularly, in trapped-ion quantum computers. The approach described herein is shown to have advantages over classical models.

  • Publication number: 20220010917
Abstract: An attachment system for a locking device mounted to a closure comprises a baseplate fastenable to a mounting surface of the closure, a housing and an insert. The baseplate includes at least one circumferential track having an engagement feature, and a plurality of circumferential cutouts terminating with a catch portion. The housing includes a plurality of extrusions insertable into the at least one circumferential track and engageable with the engagement feature to prevent the housing from being withdrawn from the baseplate in a direction normal to the mounting surface. The housing further includes a slot. The insert is securely insertable into the slot. The insert includes a frame having a plurality of protrusions insertable into the circumferential cutouts in the baseplate. The protrusions are slideably lockable in the catch portions of the circumferential cutouts to prevent relative rotation between the baseplate and the housing.

  • Publication number: 20210311600
Abstract: In various examples, a seating application may be leveraged to allow users to select—within a graphical user interface (GUI)—a seat or seats at a venue that maintain compliance with social distancing standards. For example, as each user selects seats, the seats available to the next users may be updated—e.g., dynamically—such that a minimum distance is maintained between and among each individual user or group of users (e.g., a family). As a result, during periods where social distancing measures may be in place, users and venue staff may have peace of mind that social distancing standards are being met to ensure safety, while also maximizing event space usage.
