  • Publication number: 20100060114
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pivoting drawer for use in cabinet. The drawer slides out obliquely and rotates such that the drawer moves from a closed position to an open position in a coordinated sliding and pivoting manner. The drawer is able to be opened while avoiding objects located in front of the drawer. The drawer is particularly useful in dental operatory cabinets where efficient use of small spaces is desired. Also disclosed herein is a cabinet useful for a medical or dental operatory that includes a cabinet frame structure that defines supply space in the cabinet and includes one or more drawers. At least one of the one or more drawers is supported by the cabinet frame structure and is movable from a closed position disposed within the drawer space to an open position outside of said frame structure. The cabinet has a first end and a second end and the drawer is slidable in an oblique fashion (i.e.

  • Publication number: 20080061455
Abstract: A steam dispersion system including insulation is disclosed. The steam dispersion system may include a steam dispersion tube with at least one opening defined on an outer surface of the steam dispersion tube and a hollow interior. The insulation covers at least a portion of the steam dispersion tube, the insulation defining an opening aligned with the opening of the steam dispersion tube, wherein the insulation meets 25/50 flame/smoke indexes for UL723/ASTM E-84 and has a thermal conductivity less than about 0.35 Watts/m-K (2.4 in-hr/ft?2 deg F.). A nozzle defining a throughhole may be placed within the opening of the steam dispersion tube, the throughhole being in fluid communication with the hollow interior of the steam dispersion tube to provide a steam exit.

  • Publication number: 20060293184
Abstract: A direct thermographic material has one or more thermographic layers on a polymeric support. Two protective layers are disposed over the one or more thermographic layers and both protective layers comprise the same polymer as the predominant binder. The outermost protective layer contains one or more lubricants while the innermost protective layer is substantially free of lubricants.

  • Patent number: 6026810
Abstract: A quick disconnect fitting, that is operable with one hand, is provided for connection of a endotracheal tube and an artificial breathing apparatus output tube. The fitting is preferably a rigid body member having a artificial breathing apparatus input member, a endotracheal output member, and a movable piston or plunger for manual extraction of the endotracheal tube from the endotracheal output member. A finger support member can be provided to grip with at least one finger to obtain additional leverage to depress the plunger with the palm of a user's hand. Fluid communication is always maintained from position 1 to position 2 were complete disconnection of the endotracheal tube is achieved.
