    Abstract: A stand for a mobile device such as a cell phone or MP3 music player provides an A-frame support structure having a width sufficient to support the device, a front leg, a back leg and a top and bottom. A shelf projects out at approximately a right angle from the bottom front of the A-frame support for a distance sufficient to support the device. A device resting on the lip is lifted away from the surface of a table or bar and protected from fluid or detritus.
