Abstract: Apparatus adapted for the continuous collection of strands is provided wherein, a strand control assembly comprised of a plurality of plates having specific edged configurations is adapted to move a plurality of strands from their associated package collection regions to a temporary collection region and return the strands to the appropriate package collection regions automatically while the strands are continuously wound.
