Abstract: A reset system for a buffer and a method thereof are disclosed. The reset system of the present invention includes a resettable flag in the buffer and a control unit. The reset method is to set the resettable flag and reset buffer so tat each exchanged processing unit can re-read data in the buffer for processing. Moreover, the buffer further includes an overwriteable flag so as to prevent the data in the buffer to be overwritten and get lost.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method thereof of a remotely controllable home network system for domestic appliances. A first processing unit, a first memory unit, a first display unit, and a first network unit are installed in a first domestic appliance of a domestic network system. In addition, the first memory unit is used to store action status information of the first domestic appliance. Thereby, a second domestic appliance that proposes an action request can complete the action of the first domestic appliance in succession after the second domestic appliance selects an execution item via a second display unit. Accordingly, the application convenience is enhanced.

Abstract: Mobile devices are becoming multimedia terminals which can send and receive video as well as audio and text mesges. A sender 11 can transfer content data 13 to a receiver 12. It is described how somebody could edit and adapt a video clip and send it by attaching a pre-defined filter signal 14 which adds suitable effects to the clip (colour adaptation, overlaying of icons, fade between en scenes, etc.). Instead of using the filter to edit the video clip before transmission, the filter 14 is transmitted with the video content 13, so allowing the receiver to view the clip with or without the filter, or use a different filter.
